<font face="Arial">Thật vậy, vào ngày 25/3, chúng ta cử hành trọng thể trong
Giáo Hội Lễ Truyền Tin, mở màn cho Mầu Nhiệm Nhập Thể. Tổng Thần Gabiên đến
thăm viếng Người Nữ Tỳ Nazarét khiêm hạ, loan báo rằng cô sẽ thụ thai và hạ
sinh Con Thiên Chúa. Qua Lời Loan Báo này, Chúa đã soi sáng và củng cố đức
tin của Mẹ Maria, như sau đó Ngài cũng đã làm cho phu quân chồng của cô, nhờ
đó, Chúa Giêsu có thể được sinh ra trong một gia đình nhân loại. </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Đó là những gì tuyệt vời: nó cho chúng ta thấy Mầu Nhiệm
Nhập Thể sâu xa biết bao theo như ý muốn của Thiên Chúa, bao gồm chẳng những
việc thụ thai trong cung dạ của một người mẹ mà còn cả việc đón nhận vào một
gia đình thực sự nữa. Hôm nay tôi muốn cùng với anh chị em chiêm ngưỡng vẻ
đẹp của mối liên hệ này, vẻ đẹp của việc Thiên Chúa hạ cố ấy; và chúng ta có
thể làm điều này bằng việc cùng nhau đọc Kinh Kính Mừng, một kinh mà ở phần
đầu lập lại chính xác những lời của Vị Thiên Thần ngỏ cùng Đức Trinh Nữ.

<font face="Arial">Giờ đây đến khía cạnh thứ hai đó là Ngày Sự Sống được cử
hành ở nhiều quốc gia vào ngày 25/3, Lễ Trọng Truyền Tin. Bởi vậy mà 20 năm
trước đây, vào ngày này, Thánh Gioan Phaolô II đã ký ban hành Thông Điệp
Phúc Âm Sự Sống - Evangelium Vitae. Để nhớ lại kỷ niệm này, hôm nay, hiện
diện ở Quảng Trường này có nhiều phần tử thuộc về Phong Trào Phò Sự Sống.
Trong Thông Điệp Phúc Âm Sự Sống gia đình chiếm vị trí chính yếu, như thế nó
là cung dạ của sự sống con người. Lời của vị Tiền Nhiệm khả kính của tôi
nhắc nhở chúng ta rằng đôi phối ngẫu loài người được Thiên Chúa chúc phúc
ngay từ ban đầu để làm nên một cộng đồng yêu thương và sự sống, một cộng
đồng được ký thác cho sự vụ truyền sinh. Khi cử hành Bí Tích Hôn Phối, đôi
phối ngẫu Kitô hữu bày tỏ việc sẵn sàng tôn trọng phúc lành này suốt cuộc
sống của mình theo ơn ban của Chúa Kitô. Về phần mình, Giáo Hội trân trọng
dấn thân để chăm sóc gia đình được thành lập, như món quà của Thiên Chúa cho
chính sự sống của gia đình, trong lúc an vui cũng như đau buồn: mối liên hệ
giữa Giáo Hội và gia đình là những gì linh thiêng và bất khả vi phạm. Giáo
Hội, như Người Mẹ, không bao giờ bỏ rơi gia đình, ngay cả khi nó bị hạ cấp,
thương tích và băng hoại bằng nhiều kiểu nhiều cách. Giáo Hội cũng không bỏ
rơi gia đình ngay cả khi nó sa phạm tội lỗi hay tự tách mình khỏi Giáo Hội
chăng nữa; Giáo Hội bao giờ cũng sẽ làm hết mọi sự để tỏ ra nỗ lực chăm sóc
cho gia đình và chữa lành gia đình, mời gọi gia đình hãy hoán cải và hòa
giải với Chúa. </font></p>

nhiều lời cầu nguyện biết bao, ở mọi lúc, để hoàn thành sứ vụ ấy! - một lời
cầu nguyện đầy yêu thương xin cho gia đình và cho sự sống, một lời cầu
nguyện có thể vui với những ai hân hoan và buồn với những ai sầu khổ. </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Bởi thế những gì chúng ta, cùng với các hợp tác viên của
tôi, đã nghĩ đến trong việc đề ra hôm nay đó là lập lại lời cầu nguyện cho
Thượng Nghị Giám Mục Thế Giới về Gia Đình. Chúng ta tái tấu quyết tâm này
cho đến Thánh Mười tới đây, thời điểm Thượng Nghị Giám Mục Thường Lệ này
diễn ra để tập trung vào gia đình. Tôi muốn lời cầu nguyện này, cũng như tất
cả diễn tiến của cuộc Thượng Nghị ấy, phải được sinh động bởi lòng cảm
thương của Vị Mục Tử Nhân Lành đối với đoàn chiên của Người, nhất là đối với
những con người và những gia đình, vì các lý do khác nhau, đang "mệt mỏi và
kết thúc" "như chiên không chủ chiên" (Mathêu 9:36).</font></p>

cho sự thật về tình yêu của Thiên Chúa và về tình thương của Ngài đối với
các gia đình trên thế giới này, không trừ một gia đình nào, dù ở trong hay ở
ngoài đàn chiên.</font></p>

- Giáo Hoàng, Hồng Y, Giám Mục, linh mục, nam nữ tu sĩ, tín hữu giáo dân -
tất cả chúng ta đều được kêu gọi cầu nguyện cho Thượng Nghị ấy. Cần điều này
chứ không cần đến việc xì xèo đồn đoán! Tôi cũng mời gọi anh chị em hãy cầu
nguyện cho những ai cảm thấy xa rời, hay những ai không còn quen với việc
làm này nữa. Lời cầu nguyện cho Thượng Nghị Giám Mục Thế Giới về Gia Đình là
những gì thiện ích cho tất cả mọi người. Tôi biết rằng sáng hôm nay anh chị
em đã được tặng cho một tấm thẻ cầu nguyện nhỏ và anh chị em đang cầm trong
tay. (Có lẽ nó đã hơi bị ướt mất rồi). Tôi mời gọi anh chị em hãy giữ lấy nó
và mang theo nó với anh chị em, để trong các tháng tới đây, anh chị em có
thể thường xuyên đọc nó, một cách tha thiết, như Chúa Giêsu xin chúng ta.
