<font face="Arial">Giáo Hội "là nhà của Chúa Giêsu", một ngôi nhà của lòng
thương xót chào đón tất cả, và do đó không phải là một nơi mà các Kitô hữu
có thể đóng cửa lại trước những ai muốn vào . Đây là thông điệp trọng tâm
trong bài giảng của Đức Thánh Cha Phanxicô trong Thánh Lễ sáng thứ Ba 17

lại nhiều lần trong quá khứ: đó là Đức Giêsu luôn mở rộng cửa cho bất cứ ai
tìm Ngài và đặc biệt là cho những người xa Ngài. Nhưng, Đức Giáo Hoàng than
thở là một số Kitô hữu lại đóng cửa lại trước những người gõ cửa Giáo Hội.
Trong khi Chúa Kitô trao ban toàn bộ lòng thương xót, những người tuyên xưng
niềm tin vào Ngài đôi khi lại cản trở Ngài bằng cách đóng cửa trước những

<font face="Arial">Đừng ngăn chặn những người tìm kiếm Chúa Kitô</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Suy tư của Đức Thánh Cha bắt đầu với nước, là nhân vật
chính trong bài đọc phụng vụ hôm thứ Ba. Đức Thánh Cha đã bình luận về lời
mô tả của tiên tri Ezekiel về dòng nước nhỏ giọt chảy ra từ ngưỡng cửa của
đền thờ, và gọi đó là "nước chữa lành". Dòng nước ấy trở thành một dòng sông
cuồn cuộn đầy cá, có khả năng chữa lành bất cứ ai. Và, trong Tin Mừng, đó là
dòng nước của hồ Bethesda, nơi một người đàn ông bị liệt đang buồn bã nằm
bên bờ hồ. Đức Giáo Hoàng đã miêu tả ông ta như là một người có chút "lười
biếng" vì ông chưa bao giờ tìm cách đắm mình trong làn nước đang chuyển động
hầu tìm kiếm sự chữa lành. Nhưng, Chúa Giêsu đã chữa lành anh ta và khuyến

chuyển - Chúa Thánh Thần đang di chuyển một cái gì đó - hoặc họ nghe thấy
một từ nào đó hoặc một ý muốn "Ah, tôi muốn được bước đi! ' ... Và họ thu
hết can đảm của mình và bước đi. Và bao nhiêu lần trong cộng đồng Kitô hữu
ngày nay họ sẽ tìm thấy những cánh cửa đóng kín! "Nhưng bạn không thể, không
thể vào. Bạn đã phạm tội và bạn không thể vào đây . Nếu bạn muốn đến, hãy
