Trong buổi tiếp kiến sáng ngày 5-2-2015, dành cho 8 GM Hy Lạp, ĐTC kêu gọi
Giáo Hội tại nước này tiếp tục giúp mọi người tin tưởng nơi tương lai mặc dù
cuộc khủng hoảng kinh tế kéo dài tại nước này.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Các GM Hy
lạp về Roma viếng mộ hai thánh Tông Đồ và thăm Tòa Thánh. Trong bài huấn dụ
trao cho các vị tại buổi tiếp, ĐTC viết:</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">”Đứng
trước sự kéo dài cuộc khủng hoảng kinh tế tài chánh xảy ra trầm trọng tại
đất nước anh em, anh em đừng mỏi mệt trong việc khuyên nhủ tất cả mọi người
hãy tin tưởng nơi tương lai, chống lại cái gọi là nền văn hóa bi quan. Tinh
thần liên đới mà mỗi Kitô hữu được kêu gọi làm chứng cụ thể trong đời sống
thường nhật tạo nên một men hy vọng”.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">ĐTC cũng
khích lệ các GM Hy Lạp săn sóc những tín hữu Công Giáo nhập cư, kể cả những
người ở trong tình trạng bất hợp pháp. ”Tôi thành tâm khuyến khích anh em
hãy tiếp tục tiến bước với một đà tiến truyền giáo mới, đặc biệt đưa người
trẻ tham gia vào công trình này, vì họ chính là tương lai của đất nước”.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Tiếp đến
là tiếp tục những cuộc đối thoại giữa các tín hữu Công Giáo và Chính Thống,
để nuôi dưỡng hành trình đại kết cần thiết”. Ngài kêu gọi các GM đặc biệt
chăm sóc việc mục vụ ơn gọi để đối phó với tình trạng thiếu linh mục, nhất
là kiên trì theo đuổi các chương trình chuẩn bị hôn nhân, đứng trước sự suy
yếu gia đình, do trào lưu tục hóa. Cũng đừng quên những già, nhiều khi phải
sống trong cô đơn và bị bỏ rơi vì nền văn hóa gạt bỏ đang lan tràn.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Hy Lạp
rộng 132 ngàn cây số vuông với 11 triệu 300 ngàn dân cư, trong đó hơn 90% là
tín hữu Chính Thống giáo, và chỉ có 141 ngàn tín hữu Công Giáo tương đương
với 1,2% dân số. Các tôn giáo thiểu số tại nước này vẫn còn phải chịu nhiều
thiệt thòi và kỳ thị. Ví dụ nếu một Giám Mục Công Giáo muốn sửa chữa một
thánh đường của mình thì phải xin sự đồng ý của vị Giám Mục Chính Thống tại
