cứu mới đã cho thấy rằng có tổng cộng 93 phụ nữ được nhắc đến trong Kinh
Thánh - và họ chỉ nói khoảng 1,1 phần trăm của toàn bộ Kinh Thánh.</font></p>

Lindsay Hardin Freeman và ba nữ cộng sự viên đã nghiên cứu trong ba năm cuốn
“Bible’s New Revised Standard Version” (Bản tiêu chuẩn duyệt lại mới của
Kinh Thánh) để đếm từng từ ngữ được các phụ nữ nói trong Kinh Thánh.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Họ phát
hiện rằng trong số 93 phụ nữ trong Kinh thánh, chỉ có 49 người có tên rõ
ràng - và tất cả họ chỉ nói tổng cộng 14.056 từ.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Nữ mục sư
Freeman cho biết: "Chúng tôi đã rất ngạc nhiên vì chưa thấy ai làm công việc
nghiên cứu này trước đây cả. Tôi muốn biết thực sự các phụ nữ trong Kinh
Thánh đã nói những gì”.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">"Chúng tôi
thấy rằng tất cả các sách trước đây đều tìm xem các phụ nữ trong Kinh Thánh
làm gì, chứ không tìm xem phụ nữ nói những gì. Chúng tôi muốn tìm lời họ nói,
và đưa lời ấy vào cuộc sống”.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Nhóm bốn
phụ nữ đã họp nhau và nghiên cứu Kinh Thánh trong Giáo Hội Giám chức Chúa Ba
Ngôi ở Excelsior, bang Minnesota (Mỹ), nơi bà Freeman làm giám đốc, khi cuộc
nghiên cứu bắt đầu.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Nghiên cứu
công phu của họ tiết lộ rằng Đức Maria, Thân mẫu Chúa Giêsu, nói 191 từ,
trong khi bà Maria Mađalêna chỉ nói 61 từ và bà Xa-ra (Sarah), vợ tổ phụ
Áp-ra-ham, được cho là nói 141 từ.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Trong khi
đó, bà E-va, - có lẽ là phụ nữ nổi tiếng nhất trong Kinh Thánh – chỉ nói 74
từ, và bà Giu-đi-tha (Judith), trong sách Giu-đi-tha (Gđt), nói nhiều từ
nhất, tổng cộng 2.689 từ.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Một phụ nữ
Samaria vô danh, người đã có cuộc trò chuyện dài nhất với Chúa Giêsu trong
Kinh Thánh, nói tổng cộng 151 từ.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Ước tính
Kinh Thánh có khoảng 1,1 triệu từ.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Nữ mục sư
Freeman cho biết nhiều phụ nữ đã chịu 'chấn thương khủng khiếp' trong Kinh
Thánh, và bà nói: “Cuối cùng chúng tôi cũng tìm ra các câu chuyện của họ”.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Nữ mục sư
nói với tờ báo Huffington Post: "Vì bất cứ lý do gì, chúng tôi đã nhìn thấy
chứng tá của các phụ nữ trong Kinh Thánh trong nhiều ngàn năm, và tất cả các
đóng góp của họ cho đức tin và cho lịch sử thế giới”.</font></p>

đã khóc cho các câu chuyện này, và chúng tôi cũng đã cười cho các câu chuyện

có các qui chiếu cho khi nào phụ nữ được phép nói, và một giải thích của Thư
thứ nhất gửi tín hữu Côrintô (I Cr) cho thấy thánh Phaolô đã viết rằng phụ
nữ "nên giữ im lặng" trong nhà thờ.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 8pt"><font face="Arial">Nữ mục sư
Freeman là một chuyên viên về chủ đề vai trò phụ nữ trong Kinh Thánh, và
cũng là tác giả của cuốn "The Scarlet Cord: Conversations With God's Chosen
Women”, vốn nghiên cứu câu chuyện của 12 phụ nữ trong Kinh Thánh.</font></p>
