đã chủ sự buổi đọc kinh Truyền Tin với hơn 100 ngàn tín hữu và du khách hành
hương. Trong bài huấn dụ ngài nói: Trong đêm Chúa giáng sinh đã có vài mục
đồng người Do thái tìm đến hang đá thờ lậy Chúa. Hôm nay trong lễ Hiển Linh
chúng ta kỷ niệm ba Đạo Sĩ từ Đông Phương tìm tới thờ lạy Hài Nhi, Vua người
Do thái, Đấng Cứu Thế đại đồng. Cử chỉ thờ lậy của các Đạo Sĩ làm chứng cho
thấy Chúa Giêsu đến trần gian không chỉ cho dân Ngài, mà cho tất cả mọi
người. Vì thế ngày lễ hôm nay cử hành việc Chúa biểu lộ tình yêu và cống
hiến ơn cứu độ cho mọi dân tộc. Như là Đấng Tạo Dựng và là Cha của mọi người
Ngài muốn là Đấng Cứu Độ mọi người. Vì thế chúng ta đuợc mời gọi luôn nuôi
dưỡng sự tin tưởng và hy vọng lớn đối với mỗi một người, cả những người xem
ra xa Chúa, nhưng bị tình yêu si mê và trung thành của Ngài theo đuổi.</font></p>

khó khăn, can đảm lãnh nhận các hậu quả cuộc gặp gỡ với Chúa. Đối với chúng
ra cũng thế, kiếm tìm Thiên Chúa có nghĩa là bước đi, nhìn trời và nhận ra
nơi dấu chỉ của ngôi sao Thiên Chúa vô hình nói với con tim chúng ta. Ngôi
sao có thể dẫn chúng ta tới gặp Chúa Giêsu là Lời Chúa. Nó là ánh sáng định
hướng cho con đường đời ta, nuôi dưỡng và tái sinh đức của ta, liên tục canh
tân con tim và các cộng đoàn. Vì thế đừng quên đọc và suy gẫm Lời Chúa mỗi
ngày để Lời Chúa là ánh lửa soi đường cho ta đến với Chúa. Bước đi, không
mệt mỏi, can đảm, với Lời Chúa luôn luôn đem theo trong người.</font></p>

“Ánh sáng chiếu soi bóng tối, và bóng tối đã không diệt được ánh sáng”.
Nhiều người nói rất nhiều về bình an, nhưng họ thường ưa thích sự yên bình
giả tạo của bóng tối. Chúng ta cũng nói nhiều về bình an, nhưng lại cậy nhờ
đến chiến tranh và chọn lựa thái độ câm lặng mang tính đồng lõa hoặc chẳng
làm gì cụ thể để kiến tạo bình an. Cõi lòng con người có thể khước từ ánh
sáng và ưa thích bóng tối hơn, bởi vì ánh sáng phơi bày các hành vi xấu xa
của con người. Những kẻ làm điều xấu xa căm ghét ánh sáng! Họ cũng căm ghét
hòa bình!</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Ít ngày trước, chúng ta đã khởi đầu năm mới với thánh lễ
kính Mẹ Thiên Chúa, với việc cử hành Ngày Hòa Bình Thế Giới có chủ đề “Không
còn là nô lệ, nhưng là anh em”. Mong ước của tôi là người ta dẹp bỏ được sự
bóc lột giữa người với người. Sự bóc lột này là một nỗi thương tâm xã hội
vốn xỉ nhục những tương quan giữa con người với nhau và ngăn cản một cuộc
chung sống được ghi dấu ấn bởi sự tôn trọng, công bình và bác ái. Mọi người
và mọi dân nước đều đói khát bình an; vì thế kiến tạo bình an là điều cần
thiết và khẩn cấp biết bao!</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Bình an không chỉ là vắng bóng chiến tranh, nhưng là một
tình trạng phổ quát trong đó nhân loại sống hòa hợp với chính bản thân mình,
sống hòa hợp với thiên nhiên và hòa hợp với tha nhân. Đấy mới là bình an.
Tuy nhiên, dập tắt tiếng súng và dẹp bỏ những mầm mống của chiến tranh vẫn
là những điều kiện tiên quyết để tạo ra một khởi đầu mới trong cuộc hành
trình vươn tới hòa bình trong những chiều kích khác nhau của hành trình ấy.
Tôi nghĩ đến những xung đột đã làm đổ máu nhiều vùng trên khắp hành tinh này,
đến những căng thẳng trong các gia đình và trong các cộng đoàn: vì trong
biết bao gia đình, biết bao cộng đoàn, ngay cả các giáo xứ vẫn đang có chiến
tranh! Thậm chí cả những xung đột nảy sinh trong những thành phố của chúng
ta và những quốc gia của chúng ta, giữa những nhóm khác biệt về nguồn gốc
văn hóa, chủng tộc và tôn giáo. Chúng ta phải thuyết phục chính mình, bất kể
mọi mâu thuẫn hiển nhiên, rằng sự hòa hợp luôn hoàn toàn khả thi ở mọi cấp
độ cũng như mọi hoàn cảnh. Sẽ chẳng có tương lai nếu thiếu vắng ý định và dự
phóng cho bình an! Thiếu vắng bình an sẽ chẳng có tương lai!</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Bình an đã được loan báo, như thể ân ban đặc biệt của
Thiên Chúa, trong ngày giáng sinh của Đấng Cứu Thế: ‘Vinh danh Thiên Chúa
trên trời, bình an dưới thế cho người Chúa thương’ (Lc 2, 14). Ân ban này
đòi hỏi phải được khẩn nài liên lỉ trong lời cầu nguyện. Chúng ta phải nhớ
rằng: “Gốc rễ của bình an là cầu nguyện”. Ân ban này phải được khẩn xin và
phải được đón nhận mỗi ngày cùng với nghĩa vụ trong những trạng huống mà
chúng ta gặp phải. Ngay những buổi đầu của năm mới này, tất cả chúng ta được
kêu gọi để tái nhen nhúm lên trong con tim một động lực của hy vọng vốn phải
được thể hiện ra nơi những hành vi cụ thể của bình an.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Mỗi người chúng ta phải thực thi những cử chỉ của tình
huynh đệ tương xứng với đồng loại, đặc biệt là những ai đang trải nghiệm
những căng thẳng trong gia đình hay những sự bất hòa thuộc các loại khác
nhau. Những cử chỉ nhỏ bé này rất có giá trị: chúng có thể là hạt mầm trao
ban hy vọng, chúng có thể mở ra những con đường và viễn tượng của bình an.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Giờ đây, chúng ta hãy khẩn cầu Đức Maria, Nữ Vương Hòa
Bình. Trong suốt cuộc đời mình, Mẹ đã gặp phải không ít những khó khăn trói
buộc Mẹ như khó nhọc hằng ngày của hành trình hiện sinh. Nhưng Mẹ chưa bao
giờ đánh mất bình an trong tâm hồn, là hoa trái của sự phó thác đầy tin
tưởng vào lòng thương xót của Thiên Chúa. Chúng ta hãy khẩn nài Đức Mẹ, là
Mẹ âu yếm của chúng ta, soi dẫn cho toàn thế giới con đường đảm bảo trong
tình yêu và bình an.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Theo luật Maisen cũng là tục lệ của người Do thái, những
người con trai được sinh ra, nhất là con đầu lòng, sau 40 ngày bà mẹ phải
đưa đến Đền thờ, trước là dâng con cho Chúa, sau là chính mình làm lễ tẩy uế.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Vậy sau khi Chúa Giêsu sinh ra được 40 ngày, Đức Maria
đem con lên Đền thờ dâng cho Thiên Chúa theo luật Do thái. Mẹ Ngài hoàn toàn
thanh sạch, không cần phải giữ luật ấy, nhưng Mẹ cũng thi hành đầy đủ lễ
nghi, trước là vâng theo ý Chúa, sau là để người ta khỏi mắc phải sai lầm.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Hôm ấy, ông già Simêon là người hằng mong đợi được trông
thấy Đấng Cứu Thế, lên Đền thờ cũng là ngày cha mẹ dâng Hài Nhi Giêsu trong
Đền thờ. Vừa trông thấy Hài Nhi, được ơn trên soi sáng chỉ dẫn, ông rất vui
mừng, vội đưa tay ẵm kính Hài Nhi và chúc tụng Thiên Chúa : “Lạy Chúa, giờ
đây theo lời Ngài đã hứa, xin để tôi tớ này được an bình ra đi. Vì chính mắt
con được thấy ơn cứu độ Chúa đã dành cho muôn dân : Đó là ánh sáng soi đường
cho dân ngoại, là vinh quang của Israel dân Ngài” (Lc 2,29-32).</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Hai Ông Bà thấy và nghe như thế thì lấy làm lạ, chưa kịp
hỏi han gì thì cụ già Simêon nhìn lên Đức Mẹ mà thưa : “Thiên Chúa đã đặt
cháu bé này làm duyên cớ cho nhiều người Israel ngã xuống hay đứng lên. Cháu
còn là dấu hiệu cho người ta chống báng; và như vậy, những ý nghĩ từ thâm
tâm nhiều người sẽ lộ ra. Còn chính bà, một lưỡi gươm sẽ đâm thâu tâm hồn
bà”(Lc 2,34-35). Đồng thời, nữ tiên tri Anna trông thấy Chúa Hài Nhi , bà
cũng nói lên lời chúc tụng Thiên Chúa và nói lại cho người ta biết rằng
chính Ngài là Vị Cứu Thế muôn dân đang chờ đợi.</font></p>

thờ hôm nay cũng được gọi là Lễ Nến, vì trước Thánh lễ có nghi thức làm phép
nến và kiệu nến vào nhà thờ như cuộc đón rước Chúa Giêsu là Ánh Sáng của

này, tượng trưng cho ánh sáng và vinh quang của Chúa Giêsu. Thánh Xôprôniô,
Giám mục Giêrusalem đã nói: “Đây là ý nghĩa của mầu nhiệm : chúng ta tiến
bước, đèn sáng trong tay, chúng ta hăm hở đi tới, mang theo đèn sáng để nói
lên rằng ánh sáng đã chiếu soi chúng ta và ánh sáng đó sẽ làm cho chúng ta
nên rạng ngời. Nào mau lên, tất cả chúng ta cùng nhau ra đón Chúa. Người là
Ánh Sáng thật đã đến, Ánh Sáng chiếu soi mọi người sinh ra trên thế gian.
Vậy, thưa anh em, mọi người chúng ta hãy đón nhận ánh sáng và hãy tỏa sáng”

<font face="Arial">Cuộc rước trong phụng vụ hôm nay nói lên đời sống của mỗi
tín hữu phải giãi chiếu ánh sáng cho người khác. Chúa Kitô là ánh sáng cho
trần gian. “Ánh Sáng” là một từ thường được dùng để chỉ về sự sống và chân
lý. Thiếu ánh sáng là cô đơn, nghi nan và lầm lạc. Chúa Kitô là Sự Sống cho
thế gian và cho mọi người, Là Ánh Sáng chiếu soi, là Chân Lý giải thoát, Là
tình Yêu viên mãn… Mỗi khi cầm nên đi trong đoàn kiệu, chúng ta thông phần
vào ánh sáng của Chúa Kitô.</font></p>

2015, Đức Thánh Cha đã nhắc đến sự liên kết mật thiết giữa Chúa Kitô và Mẹ
Ngài. “Không thể tách rời sự chiêm ngắm Chúa Giêsu, Ngôi Lời Sự Sống trở nên
hữu hình và có thể đụng chạm đến được (Xc 1 Ga 1,1), ra khỏi sự chiêm ngắm
Mẹ Maria Đấng đã trao ban cho Người tình thương và xác thể nhân trần của Mẹ”.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Nhân ngày đầu năm mới, Đức Thánh Cha cũng nhắc nhở các
tín hữu nhớ đến ngày mình chịu phép rửa tội, tái khám phá món quà nhận được
trong bí tích này, tái sinh chúng ta vào đời sống mới, sự sống thần linh.
Việc tái sinh này qua Mẹ Giáo Hội, có mẫu gương là Mẹ Maria. Nhờ phép rửa,
chúng ta được dẫn vào sự hiệp thông với Thiên Chúa và chúng ta không còn tùy
thuộc sự ác và tội lỗi nữa. Trái lại chúng ta nhận được tình thương, sự dịu
hiền và lòng từ bi của Chúa Cha trên trời.</font></p>

rằng kinh nguyện là cội rễ của hòa bình và hòa bình luôn luôn là điều có
thể. Kinh nguyện làm cho hòa bình nẩy mầm. Ngày Hòa bình năm nay có chủ đề
là ”không còn là nô lệ nữa, nhưng là anh chị em”. Sứ điệp này có liên hệ tới
tất cả chúng ta. Tất cả đều được mời gọi bài trừ mọi hình thức nô lệ và xây
dựng tình huynh đệ.</font></td>
