<p><font face="Arial">“Taị sao Chuá lại để xảy ra như vậy?" là câu hỏi trong
nước mắt cuả bé gái 12 tuổi Glyzelle Iris Palomar đặt ra cho Đức Giáo Hoàng.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Em cùng với một bé trai 14 tuổi tên là Jun Chura là
đại diện cho những trẻ bụi đời đang được viện 'Tulay ng Kabataan' nuôi dưỡng,
và là một trong nhiều nhân chứng được chọn để trình bày những hiện trạng và
thách đố cuả xã hội lên ĐTC, trong buổi gặp gỡ dành riêng cho thanh thiếu
niên, tổ chức tại Giáo Hoàng Học Viện Santo Tomas.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Sau khi kể hoàn cảnh cuả mình là một bé gái bị bỏ rơi
và bị vất ra ngoài lề cuả xã hội. Trong cuộc sống bụi đời ấy em đã chứng
kiến nhiều đồng bạn bị cha mẹ bỏ bê đã xa vào những cạm bẫy cuả sự dữ, như
nghiện ngập hoặc nạn mãi dâm, em đã không thể đọc tiếp bài dọn sẵn và nhìn
lên ĐTC, em đặt câu hỏi:</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">“Bakit po pumapayag ang Diyos na may ganitong
nangyayari?” ("Taị sao Chuá lại để xảy ra như vậy?")</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">"Tại sao Chuá đã cho phép những sự ấy xảy ra, dù đó
không phải là lỗi cuả những đứa trẻ vô tội?"</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Em không thể đọc tiếp, nhắm nghiền mắt lại và nức nở
khóc.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Cố gắng lắm, em kết thúc bằng một câu hỏi thứ hai “At
bakit konti lang ang tumutulong sa amin?” ("và tại sao lại ít có người giúp
chúng con như thế ?")</font></p>

<p><font face="Arial">Người ta đã phải giỗ em trước khi đưa em lên bắt tay
ĐGH. Ngài đã đứng dậy, bước xuống nửa đường để ôm em vào lòng.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Hình ảnh một vị Giáo Hoàng cũng rưng rưng nước mắt và
em Palomar chôn mặt mình vào lòng cuả Ngài đã lập tức được loan tải rộng rãi
trên tất cả các hệ thống truyền thông. Nhiều tờ báo đánh giá đây là giây
phút cảm động nhất cuả cuộc Tông Du.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Trong bài giảng, để đáp lời em Palomar, ĐTC đã dùng
tiếng mẹ đẻ Tây Ban Nha, là một việc Ngài làm khi cần bày tỏ những tâm tình
cá nhân, Ngài nói:</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">"Em ấy là người duy nhất đã hỏi một câu hỏi mà không
ai có thể trả lời được. Và em ấy cũng đã không diễn tả hết được bằng lời lẽ
nhưng đã bằng những giọt nước mắt."</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">"Tại sao con trẻ có nhiều đau khổ như thế? Tại sao một
đứa bé phải chịu đau khổ?" Ngài đặt lại câu hỏi.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">"Chỉ khi nào mà một con tim không thể tìm được câu trả
lời và bắt đầu khóc, lúc đó chúng ta mới có thể hiểu được," Ngài nói.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Và ĐTC kêu gọi những người trẻ cần phải học cách để mà
khóc.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">"Cha mời gọi từng người trong chúng con ở đây hãy tự
hỏi mình, rằng tôi đã học được cách khóc chưa, khóc như thế nào? Tôi đã học
để mà khóc cho một ai đó bị bỏ rơi bên lề đường chưa? Tồi đã khóc cho một ai
đó đang bị nghiện ngập chưa? Tôi đã khóc cho một ai đó bị lộng hành chưa?"</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">"Đây là điều trên hết mà Cha muốn nói với chúng con:
Hãy học để khóc...hãy học, học thực sự để mà khóc, khóc cách nào,"</font></p>
<p><b><font face="Arial">Ngay cả Chuá Giêsu cũng đã khóc.</font></b></p>
<p><font face="Arial">ĐTC nhấn mạnh đến cách mà Chúa Giêsu đã phục vụ cho
người dân của mình. Ngài đã không sử dụng lòng từ bi của thế gian, như là
dừng lại một vài giây để ban phát tiền bạc hoặc những cuả cải vật chất.
Nhưng, Đức Giáo Hoàng nói, Chúa Kitô đã dành trọn thời gian để lắng nghe và
để thông cảm với người dân của mình.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">"Trong Tin Mừng, Chúa Giêsu đã khóc," Đức Giáo Hoàng
nói. "Ngài đã khóc cho một người bạn vừa mới chết, Ngài đã khóc trong lòng
cho một gia đình vừa mới mất đứa con, Ngài đã khóc khi nhìn thấy một bà goá
nghèo đem chôn đứa con trai, Ngài đã rơi nước mắt, động lòng trắc ẩn, khi
nhìn thấy đám đông không có ai chăn sóc. "</font></p>

không thể là người Kitô hữu tốt," Ngài nhấn mạnh.</font></p>
