để mà yêu mến đấng cha chung, vì Đức Giáo Hoàng Phanxicô là người rất yêu
mến thánh nữ Têrêsa thành Lisieux, còn được gọi là thánh Têrêsa hài đồng
Giêsu hay là thánh Têrêsa hoa hồng nhỏ, và ĐTC cũng thường hay xin Nữ Thánh
gửi bông hồng cho mình đúng như lời đã hưá "Từ Trời, tôi sẽ tung một cơn mưa
rào bông hồng xuống" ("I will let fall from Heaven. ..a shower of roses")</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Thánh Têrêsa là một nữ tu dòng Camêlô, sinh tại Alençon ở
Pháp vào năm 1873, dâng mình vào Nhà Chuá lúc mới 15 tuổi và sống một cuộc
đời đơn sơ và thánh thiện, làm tất cả mọi thứ vì lòng yêu mến Chuá và đặt
niềm tin vào Chúa như một trẻ thơ.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Vị thánh thực hiện nhiều hành vi từ thiện nho nhỏ suốt
ngày, và hy sinh hãm mình trong mọi việc dù cho việc đó là không quan trọng.
Những hành vi như thế đã giúp cho Ngài hiểu biết sâu sắc hơn về ơn gọi của
mình.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Ngài qua đời vì bệnh lao phổi vào lúc mới có 24 tuổi, và
được Đức Giáo Hoàng John Paul II tuyên bố là Tiến Sĩ Hội Thánh vào năm 1997
(nhân dịp kỷ niệm 100 năm sau khi chết.) Ngài là vị thánh nữ thứ ba nhận
được danh hiệu Tiến Sĩ Hội Thánh, trước đó là các thánh Catherine thành
Siena và thánh Têrêsa Avila.</font></p>

Ngài là "Tôi sẽ dành cuộc sống trên Thiên đàng để làm những việc lành cho
trái đất." (“My Heaven will be spent doing good on Earth.”)</font></p>

hành động nơi chúng ta, thậm chí Ngài cũng không đánh giá việc làm đó là dễ
hay khó, nhưng Ngài chỉ lưu tâm tới mức độ yêu mến khi chúng ta làm những
việc ấy."</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Trong lúc sinh thời, thánh Têrêsa vẫn hằng ao ước được đi
truyền giáo ở Việt Nam, Ngài đã xin chuyển qua nhà dòng Camêlô ở Hanoi,
nhưng trước khi được đi thì Ngài lâm bệnh và qua đời vào ngày 30 tháng 9 năm
1897.</font></td>
