vào ngày 15 tháng Giêng vừa qua, ngay ngày hôm sau tổng thống Benigno Aquino
đã lên tiếng phàn nàn các giám mục Công Giáo nước này với cáo buộc cho rằng
các ngài đã chỉ trích vu vơ sự lãnh đạo của ông.</font><p>
<font face="Arial">Tổng thống Benigno Aquino đã phàn nàn rằng các Giám Mục
Công Giáo đã ít chú ý tới tệ nạn tham nhũng của những tổng thống tiền nhiệm,
nhưng "bây giờ dường như các vị ấy nghĩ rằng cách thức để trung thành với
đức tin là phải tìm cho ra một cái gì đó để chỉ trích." Ông nói rằng một vị
Giám Mục thậm chí đã chỉ trích kiểu tóc của ông.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Cáo buộc này đã được một phóng viên nêu ra với Cha
Federico Lombardi, giám đốc Phòng Báo Chí Tòa Thánh trong buổi họp báo chiều
thứ Sáu 16 tháng Giêng. Có lẽ, tổng thống muốn khéo léo phàn nàn với Đức
Thánh Cha là các Giám Mục nước này đã hành xử quá đáng.</font></p>
<p><font face="Arial">Thực ra, Aquino đã mâu thuẫn với các nhà lãnh đạo Giáo
