<p align="left"><font face="Arial">Bộ Ngoại Giao Nam Hàn công bố vào
sáng hôm nay thứ Hai 13/12/2010 là một tầu Nam Hàn đã bị chìm trong
khu vực biển Nam Cực (Antartic) vào lúc 6:30 sáng thứ Hai theo giờ
Tân Tây Lan.<br>
<br>
Trung tâm điều phối cứu nạn trên biển của Tân Tây Lan cho biết chiếc
tàu bị chìm là tầu đánh cá loại lớn nặng đến 614 tấn có tên gọi là
“Con Tầu Số 1 của Sung”. Địa điểm bị chìm nằm ở phía Nam Tân Tây
Lan, cách nước này 1700 hải lý và cách Nam Cực 620 hải lý.<br>

Hai tầu đánh cá của Tân Tây Lan – chiếc Antarctic Chieftain và chiếc
Janus – cùng với 3 tầu đá của Nam Hàn đã tiếp cứu chiếc tầu gặp nạn.
Hải quân và không quân Tân Tây Lan cũng đã nhanh chóng tiếp cứu. Các
nỗ lực chung đã giúp cứu được 22 thuyền viên và tìm được xác của 5
thuyền viên khác gồm 2 người Nam Dương, 2 người Nam Hàn và 1 người
Việt Nam. <br>

Lúc tầu gặp nạn trên tầu có 42 thuyền viên gồm 8 người Nam Hàn, 11
người Việt Nam, 11 người Nam Dương, 8 người Trung Hoa, 3 người Phi
Luật Tân và 1 người Nga. <br>
<br>
Phát ngôn viên Hải Quân Tân Tây Lan ông Ross Henderson cho biết hải
quân và không quân nước này đã ngưng các cuộc tìm kiếm 17 người được
ghi nhận vẫn còn đang mất tích.<br>
<br>
“Nhiệt độ trên mặt biển chỉ có 2 độ và nếu không có phao cứu sinh
thì thời gian sống sót chỉ có 10 phút,” ông Ross giải thích. </font>
