<font face="Arial">Ngày 8-12 vừa qua, Đức cha Bernard Podvin, phát ngôn
viên của Hội đồng Giám mục Pháp, đã mời mọi người đọc tác phẩm “Ánh sáng
cho trần gian”<span style="font-style: italic"> [Luz del Mundo] </span>
do nhà báo người Đức Peter Seewald thực hiện, ghi lại cuộc phỏng vấn
của ông với Đức Thánh Cha Bênêđictô XVI. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Đức cha Podvin mô tả tác phẩm này là một cuốn sách để
“thưởng thức”, “suy niệm” chứ không phải là dịp để “soi mói tư tưởng của
Đức Thánh Cha theo kiểu pharisêu hay đám kinh sư”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Đức cha nêu cảm nhận của mình sau khi đọc tác phẩm:
“Trong cuốn sách này, ĐTC đã tự giãi bày và không bận tâm sự đánh giá
của công chúng”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Đức cha khẳng định: “Tôi nói ‘đọc’ tác phẩm, chứ
không phải chỉ loáng thoáng đọc các bình luận hoặc trích dẫn. Đọc, chứ
không coi đây là một huấn quyền mới về chủ nghĩa tương đối. Đọc, chứ
không phải soi mói tư tưởng của Đức Giáo hoàng theo kiểu pharisêu hay
đám kinh sư. Đọc để thưởng thức, suy niệm và nhận lấy ánh sáng rồi đưa
vào cuộc sống hàng ngày”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Vị phát ngôn viên HĐGM Pháp còn quả quyết: “Những con
người lớn lao trên hành tinh này sẽ lãnh nhận được từ tác phẩm cả một
sự khiêm hạ ngời sáng”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Đức cha cũng nêu lên một vài trích đoạn về “cuộc trò
chuyện diễn ra như được Chúa quan phòng xếp đặt”, chẳng hạn khi ĐTC nói:
“Điều người ta coi là tự do thực ra chỉ là sự bãi bỏ những giá trị đến
nay vẫn còn nguyên vẹn”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Hoặc: “Sự hiện diện của Kitô giáo không phải là một
hình thái cố cựu, lỗi thời đặt bên cạnh cái hiện đại, mà thật sự đang
sống động và mang tính hiện đại, một sự hiện đại đang làm ra và định
hình, nghĩa là đang ôm lấy toàn bộ tính hiện đại của tôi”. </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Đức cha Podvin kết luận về tác phẩm “Ánh sáng cho
trần gian”: </font></p>
