<font face="Arial">Hôm nay, 8-12, Đức Hồng y Bertone, Quốc vụ khanh Tòa
Thánh, tham dự lễ kỷ niệm 400 năm ngày mất của cha Matteo Ricci
(1552-1610), tu sĩ dòng Tên, nguời bạn lớn của Trung Hoa với 28 năm sống
tại đất nước này. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Lễ kỷ niệm được tổ chức tại Macerata (Italia), quê
hương của Matteo Ricci. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Đón tiếp ĐHY Bertone có Đức cha Claudio Giuliodori,
giám mục giáo phận Macerata-Tolentino-Recanati-
<wbr>Cingoli-Treia. </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Chuyến viếng thăm của vị hồng y xuất thân từ Dòng Don
Bosco cũng đánh dấu 120 năm thành lập học viện Salêdiêng San Giuseppe.
Do đó đón tiếp ĐHY còn có cha Dalmazio Maggi, giám đốc Học viện. </font>

<font face="Arial">Vào tháng Năm 2009, Đức Thánh Cha Bênêđictô XVI đã
gửi cho Đức cha Giuliodori một sứ điệp nhân kỷ niệm 400 năm Matteo
Ricci. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Trong sứ điệp, ĐTC nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của công
trình Nhà truyền giáo vĩ đại này đối với ngày hôm nay, trong cuộc đối
thoại của lý trí giữa các nền văn hóa, và đối với công cuộc đưa Tin Mừng
hội nhập văn hóa. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC viết: “Cha Matteo Ricci là người có đức tin sâu
xa đồng thời là một tài năng lỗi lạc về văn hóa và khoa học. Cha đã dành
nhiều năm của đời mình để dệt nên một cuộc đối thoại hiệu quả giữa
phương Tây và phương Đông, đồng thời đưa Tin Mừng bén rễ sâu vào nền văn
hóa của dân tộc Trung Hoa vĩ đại. Cha còn để lại cho ngày nay mẫu gương
về sự gặp gỡ giữa các nền văn minh của châu Âu và Trung Hoa”. </font>

<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC ca ngợi cha Matteo Ricci là “thừa tác viên của
Giáo Hội vâng phục”, là “vị sứ giả tài trí và không hề sợ hãi của Tin
Mừng Chúa Kitô”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC viết: “Những hoạt động rất nhiệt thành về phương
diện khoa học và tinh thần đã khiến người ta phải ngỡ ngàng trước khả
năng sáng tạo độc đáo của cha khi tiếp cận, với tất cả sự tôn trọng, các
truyền thống văn hóa và tinh thần của người Trung Hoa”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Sứ điệp của ĐTC nêu rõ: “Thái độ này của cha Matteo
Ricci cho thấy nét đặc sắc trong hoạt động truyền giáo của ngài là tìm
sự hài hòa có thể có giữa nền văn minh Trung Hoa lâu đời và cao quý với
cái mới của Kitô giáo, hạt mầm của giải phóng và sự đổi mới đích thực
cho toàn xã hội, bởi Tin Mừng là một sứ điệp cứu độ phổ quát gửi đến mọi
người, dù họ thuộc về bất kì một bối cảnh văn hóa và tôn giáo nào. Cha
thực thi sứ vụ tông đồ một cách độc đáo, có thể nói là mang tính tiên
tri, qua mối thiện cảm sâu sắc cha dành cho người Trung Hoa, cho nền văn
hóa và các truyền thống tôn giáo của họ”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC nhắc đến tác phẩm “De amicitia Jiaoyoulun” (Bàn
về tình bạn) của Matteo Ricci, “một tác phẩm thành công vang dội ngay từ
lần xuất bản đầu tiên vào năm 1595 tại Nam Kinh”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC nhận thấy trong tác phẩm này “một kiểu mẫu cho
sự đối thoại và tôn trọng niềm tin của người khác”. Bởi cha Ricci “thực
thi sứ vụ tông đồ bằng phong cách bè bạn”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC nhấn mạnh, cha Ricci đã thực hiện “một phương
pháp luận khoa học và một chiến lược mục vụ, một đàng dựa trên sự tôn
trọng các tập quán lành mạnh của địa phương - nên các tân tòng không cần
phải bỏ để giữ đức Tin Kitô giáo - đàng khác, dựa trên nhận thức Mạc
khải sẽ đem lại giá trị và bổ túc cho những tập quán đó… Cha đã đặt nền
móng cho công việc lâu dài là đưa Kitô giáo hội nhập Trung Hoa, bằng
cách tìm kiếm một sự đồng thuận vững chắc nơi các bậc thức giả của đất
nước này”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Vào năm 2007, trong một hội thảo được tổ chức tại
Macerata, ĐTC Bênêđictô XVI đã nhấn mạnh cha Matteo là “Vị Tiền hô” của
mối quan hệ hữu nghị giữa Trung Hoa và Kitô giáo. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Vụ án phong chân phước cho cha Matteo Ricci đã được
mở lại. Vụ án này đã kết thúc ở cấp giáo phận vào năm 1984
và hồ sơ đã được chuyển về Rôma. Nhưng sau đó cái chết của vị cáo thỉnh
viên là Đức cha Otello Gentili đã khiến vụ án phải ngừng lại. Bây
giờ các tài liệu mới đang được đưa vào hồ sơ cũ: có khoảng 15 đến 20
chứng từ liên quan đến “Sự thánh thiện lẫy lừng”. </font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Vị tân cáo thỉnh viên, cha Anton Witwer, đã tiếp nhận
và bổ túc hồ sơ qua việc phục hồi ủy ban lịch sử và tiếp nhận những
chứng từ mới: biết đâu một sự kiện phi thường nào đó sẽ đem lại cho
vụ án một cuộc điều tra đặc biệt. </font></tr>
