<font face="Arial">Sáng Chúa nhật 12-12, Đức Thánh Cha Bênêđictô XVI đã
cử hành thánh lễ tại nhà thờ giáo xứ Thánh Maximilianô Kolbe, ngoại ô
Rôma (Italia). </font>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 10pt">
<font face="Arial">Từ năm 2009, cộng đoàn giáo xứ tại đây đã có được một
ngôi thánh đường mới dâng kính Thánh Maximilianô Kolbe, linh mục dòng
Phan sinh, người Ba Lan. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 10pt">
<font face="Arial">Trong bài giảng Thánh lễ, ĐTC nhấn mạnh: “Mùa Vọng là
một lời mời gọi mạnh mẽ chúng ta hãy để cho Chúa tiến thêm bước nữa vào
cuộc đời chúng ta, ngôi nhà của chúng ta, khu xóm và cộng đoàn chúng ta,
để ánh sáng bừng lên giữa mọi chốn tối tăm và mọi nỗi nhọc nhằn hằng
ngày của mình”. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 10pt">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC ghi nhận giáo xứ trong thời gian qua đã phát
triển và phần nào đó cũng có sự thay đổi do có thêm nhiều người đến từ
Đông Âu và các nước khác. Ngài nói: “Điều quan trọng là tạo cơ hội cho
sự đối thoại và thúc đẩy sự hiểu biết lẫn nhau giữa những người thuộc
các nền văn hóa, cách sống và điều kiện xã hội khác nhau”. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 10pt">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC nhắn nhủ: “Ở đây cũng như mọi giáo xứ khác, phải
bắt đầu từ những gì gần gũi nhất để đạt đến những gì xa hơn, nhờ đó sẽ
đưa Tin Mừng hiện diện được trong những môi trường sống và làm việc. Tất
cả mọi người đều có thể tìm thấy ở nơi giáo xứ những con đường thích hợp
để hình thành và sống chiều kích cộng đoàn, một đặc điểm cơ bản của đời
sống Kitô giáo… bằng cuộc sống hiệp thông cộng đoàn với tất cả mọi
người, hiệp nhất với nhau trong việc lắng nghe Lời Chúa, cử hành các bí
tích, nhất là bí tích Thánh Thể”. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 10pt">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC giảng giải ý nghĩa bài Phúc âm Chúa nhật III Mùa
Vọng nói về Gioan Tẩy giả hỏi Chúa Giêsu có phải là Vua sẽ làm thay đổi
thế giới hay còn phải đợi một Đấng khác. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 10pt">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC nhấn mạnh: “Nhiều nhà tiên tri, tư tưởng và các
nhà độc tài đã đến và nói rằng: Không phải ông ta đâu! Ông ta đã chẳng
thay đổi được thế giới! Mà chính là chúng tôi! Và thế là họ lập nên các
đế chế, các nền độc tài và chủ nghĩa toàn trị. Họ có thay đổi được thế
giới đâu mà chỉ phá hoại thôi. Chúng ta biết rằng, những lời hứa hẹn vĩ
đại ấy đã chỉ để lại sự trống rỗng và hủy diệt… Còn Chúa, với một vẻ
lặng lẽ cố hữu, đã đáp lại: Hãy xem những gì tôi đã làm. Tôi đã không
làm một cuộc cách mạng đổ máu, không dùng bạo lực để thay đổi thế giới,
nhưng đã thắp lên tất cả mọi ánh sáng làm thành một đại lộ ánh sáng suốt
các thiên niên kỷ”. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 10pt">
<font face="Arial">Tiếp theo ĐTC nói về Thánh Maximilianô Kolbe: “Thánh
nhân là người đã chấp nhận cái chết để cứu một người cha gia đình”, về
cha Damien de Veuster “người đã sống chết với và cho các bệnh nhân
phong, nhờ đó mang ánh sáng đến họ”, và Mẹ Têrêsa Calcutta, người “đã
mang lại biết bao ánh sáng cho những người từng phải sống một đời không
có ánh sáng thì nay được chết với nụ cười vì được ánh sáng của Tình yêu
Thiên Chúa chạm đến. Như vậy chúng ta có thể bước theo các ngài và sẽ
thấy, như Chúa đã nói khi trả lời Gioan, rằng không phải một cuộc cách
mạng quyết liệt hay những lời hứa lớn lao sẽ làm cho thế giới thay đổi,
nhưng chính ánh sáng lặng lẽ của chân lý và lòng nhân lành của Chúa là
dấu chỉ Ngài đang hiện diện và cho chúng ta biết chắc mình được Chúa yêu
thương và không bị quên lãng, cũng không phải là kết quả của sự ngẫu
nhiên nào đó mà là từ ý định yêu thương của Chúa”. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-top: 10pt">
<font face="Arial">ĐTC kết thúc bài giảng: “Chúa đã đến gần… còn chúng
ta thì vẫn cứ ở xa. Chúng ta hãy tiến lại gần Chúa, hãy cầu xin Chúa cho
chúng ta được đi đến nơi có ánh sáng của Chúa, và nhờ đến với sự cầu
nguyện, chúng ta được trở nên ánh sáng cho tha nhân”. </font>
