bạo động, cách riêng tại Iraq và Ai cập.</font></p>

<font size="3">Sau buổi đọc kinh Truyền Tin trưa Chúa nhựt mùng 5 tháng
12 năm 2010, Ðức thánh cha đã kêu gọi các tín hữu cầu nguyện cho mọi nạn
nhân của bạo động, bất khoan nhượng và đau khổ trên khắp thế giới, cách
riêng tại Iraq, Ai cập và Sinai.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Ðức thánh cha nói rằng trong mùa vọng này, ngài nghĩ đến
bao hoàn cảnh khó khăn như các cuộc bạo động nhắm vào các tín hữu Kitô
và người Hồi giáo tại Iraq, các cuộc đụng độ làm cho bao nhiêu người
chết và bị thương, các nạn nhân của các vụ buôn người và tổ chức tội
phạm cũng như thảm kịch của các con tin Erythrea và người nước khác
trong sa mạc Sinai.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Ðức thánh cha khẳng định: "tôn trọng nhân quyền là điều
kiện để sống chung trong xã hội".</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Theo các nguồn tin tôn giáo, khoảng 300 người Erythrea đã
bị một tổ chức tội phạm bắt giữ làm con tin trong sa mạc Sinai từ một
tháng nay.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Tại Ai cập, cách đây khoảng 10 ngày, hai tín hữu Copte bị
sát hại khi diễn ra những cuộc đụng độ giữa cảnh sát và các tín hữu Kitô
là những người thường xuyên tố cáo tình trạng bị đẩy ra bên lề của họ.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Tại Iraq, sáng thứ Bảy mùng 4 tháng 12 năm 2010, nhiều
cuộc bạo động mới đã diễn ra tại Bagdad khiến cho 14 người chết và hàng
trăm người bị thương.</font></tr>
