Pakistan [Ucanews 29/11/2010] - Ðức hồng y Jean Louis Tauran, chủ tịch
Hội đồng Tòa thánh về đối thoại liên tôn, nhấn mạnh đến nhu cầu phải có
đối thoại liên tôn tại Pakistan.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Trong chuyến viếng thăm đầu tiên tại Pakistan, Ðức hồng y
chủ tịch Hội đồng Tòa thánh về đối thoại liên tôn đã có cuộc gặp gỡ
chính thức với tổng thống Asif Ali Zardari, viếng thăm một trung tâm
nghiên cứu đại kết Kitô, khánh thành một trung tâm hòa bình tại Lahore
do các tu sĩ Ða minh điều khiển và cử hành thánh lễ tại nhà thờ chính
tòa Lahore cũng như gặp gỡ các Ðức giám mục và bề trên dòng tu tại nước
này.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Trong một tuyên ngôn được cho công bố tại Lahore hôm 28
tháng 11 năm 2010, vị Hồng y người Pháp này khẳng định rằng "mục đích
của chuyến viếng thăm Pakistan của ngài là khuyến khích cộng đồng Công
giáo và các vị mục tử trong cuộc sống hằng ngày hãy lắng nghe, cảm thông
và chia sẻ".</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Ðức hồng y chủ tịch Hội đồng Tòa thánh về đối thoại liên
tôn cho biết: ngài đã cố gắng giúp các tín hữu Kitô Pakistan suy tư về
sự cần thiết phải có đối thoại với những người thuộc các tôn giáo khác.
Theo ngài, một cuộc đối thoại như thế phải được xây dựng trên sự chân
thực, tôn trọng hổ tương, nhưng đồng thời vẫn bảo vệ bản sắc của mình.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Ðức hồng y Tauran cũng nói rằng ngài có ấn tượng mạnh về
sức sống của cộng đồng Công giáo tại Pakistan, là cộng đồng luôn cố gắng
xây dựng một xã hội hài hòa tại nước này.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Ngài nói rằng ngài tin tưởng là chính phủ nước này sẽ tỏ
thiện chí đối với những nhu cầu của Giáo hội Công giáo.</font></p>
<p style="margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0" align="justify">
<font size="3">Về phần mình, Ðức cha Adolfo Tito Yllana, Sứ thần Tòa
thánh tại Pakistan hy vọng rằng chuyến viếng thăm của Ðức hồng y Tauran
sẽ làm cho các tín hữu Kitô đang bị kỳ thị không còn cảm thấy lẽ loi
nữa. Ngài nói với hãng thông tấn Ucanews rằng chính quyền Pakistan đã
quan tâm đến những lo ngại và thách đố của các tín hữu Kitô. Một trong
những quan ngại chính của Giáo hội tại Pakistan chính là luật chống phạm
thượng. Các nhà lãnh đạo Giáo hội đã nhiều lần kêu gọi bãi bỏ luật này,
vì nó thường được xử dụng để giải quyết tư thù và xách nhiễu các cộng
đồng tôn giáo thiểu số tại nước này.</font></tr>
