Micae Nguyễn Trung Thаnh sinh ngаy 15 thбng 12 năm 1933, tại xг Thượng
Phъc, huyện Thбi Thụy, tỉnh Thбi Bмnh, trong một gia đмnh Cфng giбo cу
sбu anh chị em. Hồi cтn nhỏ, cậu Thаnh được cha mẹ cho học trường lаng,
vа sau đу, theo bậc trung học tại trường Nguyễn Trường Tộ, xг Thвn
Thượng, huyện Kiến Xương, tỉnh Thбi Bмnh.</span></p>

Năm lкn 18 tuổi, ngаy 04 thбng 08 năm 1951, Anh gia nhập Đoаn Đồng Cфng
tại Liкn Thủy, Bщi Chu, vа nhận tкn gọi mới: Nguyễn Trung Giбo</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 15.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">,
vаo</span><span style="font-size: 15.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">
ngаy 15 thбng 09 năm 1951. Trong giai đoạn mới nhập tu, Anh Micae được
cắt cử phục vụ tại hiệu sбch Đồng Tвm, một cơ sở kinh doanh của Đoаn
Đồng Cфng lъc bấy giờ.</span></p>

Khi đất nước bị chia đфi, ngаy 13 thбng 08 năm 1954, Anh Micae Maria
cщng với anh em Dтng di cư vаo Nam vа định cư tại Cщ Lao Giкng, nay
thuộc Giбo phận Long Xuyкn. Tại đвy, cщng với anh em lớp II, Anh được
tận hiến cho Đức Mẹ vа gia nhập Tập viện vаo ngаy 15 thбng 12 năm 1954.
Khi năm tập cтn dang dở, anh em Tập sinh đг phải di dời về Thủ Đức vм
tмnh hмnh an ninh bất ổn</span><span lang="VI" style="font-size: 15.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">.
Anh Micae Maria tiếp tục sống năm tập cho đến ngаy 25 thбng 03 năm 1956
thм được tuyкn khấn lần đầu tại Tu viện Thбnh Gia, Thủ Đức. Cũng ngаy
nаy bốn năm sau đу, Anh được tuyкn khấn trọn đời.</span></p>

Sau khi vĩnh thệ, Anh Micae Maria được giao nhiệm vụ phụ trбch đội
Magnificat, tiền thвn của một số anh em Đội III vа Đội V sau nаy. Năm
1963, Anh Micae Maria bắt đầu theo cбc khуa Triết học vа Thần học. Trong
giai đoạn tiếp sau đу, Anh được cử đi phục vụ tại cбc nơi như sau:</span></p>

- Năm 1970 đến 1971: phục vụ tại cư xб sinh viкn Rạng Đфng, Đа Lạt, với
cương vị phу giбm đốc, kiкm quản lэ dưới quyền anh linh mục Phạm Văn
Hуa, sau đу lа anh linh mục Nguyễn Minh Đăng.</span></p>

- Năm 1971: Anh được thuyкn chuyển đến Qui Nhơn vа tiếp tục chương trмnh

- Ngаy 02 thбng 02 năm 1973, nhằm ngаy sinh nhật Dтng trтn 20 tuổi, Anh
Micae Maria Nguyễn Trung Giбo được thụ phong linh mục bởi tay Đức cha
Đaminh Hoаng Văn Đoаn, Giбm mục Giбo phận Qui Nhơn. Sau khi thụ phong
linh mục, Anh được thuyкn chuyển về Thủ Đức, vа được cбc Bề trкn trạch
cử lаm giбm đốc trường Tiểu - Trung học vа kэ tъc xб Đồng Cфng, Thủ Đức.

Từ năm 1974, Anh được cử lаm Tuyкn ъy Dтng Trinh Vương trong suốt hơn 19
năm, khi thм ở Bщi Mфn, khi thм ở Phъ Hiệp. Ngаy 26 thбng 06 năm 1993,
sau khi Anh Cả được trả tự do, Anh Micae Maria được chuyển về Tu viện
Khiết Tвm, một cơ sở duy nhất của Dтng cтn lại tại Việt Nam sau biến cố
1987. Đвy chнnh lа khu Nhа Mẹ của Dтng cho đến ngаy nay. Trong giai đoạn
khу khăn nаy, Anh được chọn lаm Tổng Phụ Tб III, để cщng với Anh Cả vа
Tổng Hội Đồng khфi phục lại sức sống vа đặc sủng của Dтng. Ngoаi những
trọng trбch được đặt trкn vai của một linh mục thuộc hạng trẻ tại Việt
Nam lъc bấy giờ, Anh cтn tham gia vаo cфng việc giảng dạy Triết học vа
Thần học trong cбc khуa VI - VIII của Dтng. Đồng thời, Anh cũng đуng gуp
trong việc giảng huấn cho cбc Tập sinh. Bкn cạnh đу, Anh cтn đảm nhận
nhiệm vụ ngoại giao để gặp gỡ, trao đổi, kiến nghị với Bản quyền địa
phương cũng như cбc cấp chнnh quyền phường, quận, thаnh phố, đặc biệt lа
Ban Tфn giбo thаnh phố, để lo cho việc khфi phục vа phбt triển Hội Dтng.</span></p>

Sau khi hoаn thаnh nhiệm vụ của mмnh, năm 2006, trong Tổng Tu Nghị V của
Dтng, Anh rời khỏi chức vụ Tổng Phụ Tб III. Sau đу, qua sự đề cử của Bề
trкn, Anh Micae Maria được Đức Hồng Y Gioan Baotixita Phạm Minh Mẫn,
Tổng Giбm mục Tổng Giбo phận Sаi Gтn, bổ nhiệm lаm Tuyкn ъy cho Dтng
Trinh Vương - Bщi Mфn thкm một lần nữa. Ngаy 03 thбng 07 năm 2010 (trщng
ngаy Anh qua đời), Đức Hồng Y Gioan Baotixita kэ đơn xin của Anh Gioan
Maria Đoаn Phъ Xuвn, Tổng Phục Vụ Dтng Đồng Cфng lъc bấy giờ, chấp thuận
cho Anh Micae Maria Nguyễn Trung Giбo rời khỏi nhiệm vụ tuyкn ъy Dтng
Trinh Vương, vм Anh đг 77 tuổi vа tмnh trạng sức khỏe đг suy giảm.</span></p>

Khoảng giữa năm 2011, cбc bбc sĩ đг xбc định Anh bị ung thư bao tử. Nhờ
vаo cбc phương tiện chữa trị hiện đại, căn bệnh nguy hiểm nаy đг được
khống chế. Trong hơn 10 năm cuối đời, Anh phải chiến đấu với bệnh tật
thể xбc khi mang trong mмnh nhiều chứng bệnh khбc như tiểu đường, huyết
бp, tim mạch. Tuy nhiкn, Anh vẫn luфn trung thаnh chu toаn bổn phận của
mмnh trong đời sống thiкng liкng, đặc biệt, hằng ngаy trкn chiếc xe lăn,
Anh vẫn cщng dвng thбnh lễ với cбc anh em yếu bệnh tại phтng бo.</span></p>

Thбng 11 năm 2020, tмnh trạng sức khỏe của Anh đг suy giảm nghiкm trọng.
Từ đвy, Anh gắn mмnh trкn giường bệnh để hiến tế những đau đớn thể xбc
do bệnh tật, như Đức Kitф đг hiến tế chнnh mмnh trкn bаn thờ Thập giб.
Lъc 19g00 ngаy 03 thбng 07 năm 2021, nhận thấy dấu hiệu nguy tử, anh
Nguyễn Năng Nguyкn Khфi, trưởng ban y tế của Dтng đг ban bн tнch Xức dầu
cho Anh. 22g30’ cщng ngаy, Anh Micae Maria Nguyễn Trung Giбo, CRM, đг
trъt hơi thở cuối cщng, hoаn tất một cuộc hаnh trмnh dаi 88 năm trкn
dương thế, với 65 năm trong lời khấn Dтng, vа 48 năm trong thiкn chức
linh mục. Chъng ta hiệp lời tạ ơn Thiкn Chъa vа Mẹ Maria, bởi cбc Ngаi
đг ban muфn phъc lаnh vа gмn giữ Anh trong suốt cuộc đời tại thế.</span></p>
