<span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial,sans-serif">Tuần Thánh đã
bắt đầu, như trong thời điểm thực tế, chúng ta theo dõi thảm kịch cuộc sông
của một người đang kết thúc, và cái chết của một Đức Chúa đang khôi phục sự
sông của chúng ta.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify">
<span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial,sans-serif">Ở trung tâm
Phúc âm này, có cử chi tiên tri của cô Maria lấy "một cân dầu thơm nguyên
chất và quí giá xức chân Đức Giêsu, rồi lây tóc mà lau." Xức dầu đây, không
phải trên đầu, vì đó là đánh dâu việc trao vương quyền, nhưng xức trên chân
đế nói lên sự khiêm tôn của Người Tôi Trung đau khổ (Is 42), vì chỉ trên
thập giá và đầu đội mão gai, Đâ'ng Mêsia mới được tôn xưng là vua. Đây là
hành động mà chính Đức Giêsu giải thích như để loan báo việc mai táng Chúa
trước ngày lễ Vượt Qua: "Cô đã giữ dầu thơm này là có ý dành cho ngày mai
táng Thầy." Như vậy, nhờ quyền năng Chúa Thánh Thần, sứ vụ của Đức Giêsu
trong việc nhập thể đã được một phụ nữ loan báo thì, ở đây, nhờ việc xức dầu
của Thần Khí, một Maria khác đã chuyển tin về sự hoàn thành sứ vụ cứu độ của
Người. Việc xức dầu chiếm ưu thế trong ngày đầu Tuần Thánh này: "Và cả nhà
sực mùi thơm"; xức dầu là sai đi, là sinh ra, là mở ra cho mẩu nhiệm sẽ được
thực hiện trong tuần này.</span></p>
