thương các con trai mình</span></p>

<span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial,sans-serif">Nhân vật
chính của dụ ngôn về đứa con hoang đàng, là người cha. Ông có hai con trai,
và điều gây ấn tượng là hai người con này đều có, ít ra, một điểm chung: đó
là cách họ chú ý đến quan hệ với người cha. Thật ra, họ cư xử rất khác,
nhưng cuôi cùng, những cách họ suy nghĩ về quan hệ của họ với người cha, lại
giông nhau! Bởi vì, rút cục, anh này và anh kia đều tính toán. Người con đã
phạm tội, nói: "Tôi chẳng đáng gì nữa". Còn người con trung thành, thì nói:
"Dù sao, tôi cũng còn xứng đáng được gì chứ!" Anh này và anh kia đều coi
thái độ với cha mình như một bài kế toán.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify">
<span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial,sans-serif">Còn người cha
thì lại rất xa việc tính toán: ông không muôn nghe nói về công trạng, không
theo hướng này, cũng không theo hướng khác! Ông chỉ yêu thương các con trai
mình, thế thôi. Với Thiên Chúa, không có vấn đề tính toán, công trạng, con
sô', và như vậy cũng không có vân đề người này cao hơn so với người kia! Và
đó là một logic mà chúng ta râ't khó từ bỏ. Toàn bộ Kinh Thánh, từ Cựu Ước,
là lịch sử của khoa sư phạm chậm rãi và kiên nhân của Thiên Chúa, đế cho
chúng ta nhận biết Người như Người là, chứ không phải như chúng ta tưởng
tượng.</span></p>
