vâng” của người công chính</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify">
<span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial,sans-serif">Câu "fiat"
của Đức Maria luôn gợi lên cho nhân loại một sự biết ơn vô tận, đối với
người đã châ'p nhận làm mẹ Đâ'ng Cứu Thế. Nhưng chúng ta dễ quên rằng chính
ông Giuse cũng có phần tham gia vào biến cô' quan trọng của công cuộc Cứu
độ. Không như lời "xin vâng" của Đức Maria là một điều kiện "tất yếu", nhưng
lời "xin vâng" của ông Giuse là chủ yếu trong kế hoạch của Thiên Chúa: ông
được giao trách nhiệm nhập Đức Giêsu vào dòng máu đích thực của Đavít.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify">
<span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial,sans-serif">Nói cách
khác, ông Giuse không chỉ đóng vài trò chiếc bình phong, che giấu mẩu nhiệm
sự trinh khiết của Đức Maria Ông không chi là người cha có trách nhiệm nuôi
dưỡng một người phụ nữ và một trẻ em. Trên "sân khấu" lớn của công cuộc Cứu
độ nhân loại, ông chỉ có một vai trò nhỏ và biến khỏi lịch sử khá nhanh, như
một văn bản đọc liến thoáng...</span></p>

<span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: Arial,sans-serif">Và nếu ông
được gọi là người công chính, thì cũng vì ông đã nhận sứ vụ quan trọng Thiên
Chúa trao cho: "Đừng ngại đón bà Maria, vợ ông về.." Một nhiệm vụ làm
Chồng, một nhiệm vụ làm Cha! Và Tin Mừng giản dị kể lại sự vâng lời rất tự
nhiên của người công chính: "Khi tỉnh giâc, ông làm như sứ thẩn Chúa dạy, và
đón vợ về nhà".</span></p>
