Thánh Luca cho chúng ta biết bà được đầy tràn Thánh Thần. Đứa con trong bụng mà bà mong đợi đã nhận ra Mẹ Maria và người con mà Mẹ đang cưu mang.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Còn gì tuyệt vời hơn lời xác tín phát xuất từ môi miệng bà Êlisabét: "Em được chúc phúc hơn mọi người phụ nữ và người con em đang cưu mang cũng được chúc phúc" (Lc 1,42). Bà Êlisabét tuyên xưng Mẹ Maria là Mẹ Thiên Chúa, là bảo tráp của Thiên Chúa. Và từ cung lòng rất thanh sạch, Mẹ đón nhận Đấng Tối Cao.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Bà Êlisabét ngợi khen Mẹ Maria có phúc vì đã tin vào lời của Thiên Chúa. Bà tuyên xưng niềm tin của mình qua Mẹ. Tuyên xưng Mẹ là môn đệ đầu tiên của Đấng mà Mẹ sẽ hạ sinh. Trước hết, Mẹ đã tin vào Lời Chúa và lên đường để đón nhận Đấng Cứu Thế.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Mẹ Maria đến thăm bà Êlisabét với trọn tấm lòng và đem đến cho bà niềm mừng vui hoan hỉ. Mẹ cũng hứa ban niềm vui hân hoan bao la của Mẹ cho tất cả những ai biết lắng nghe lời Mẹ. Mẹ vui mừng mỗi khi có người nhờ Mẹ biết ăn năn quay lại nẻo chính đường ngay. Mẹ giải thích sáng tỏ toàn bộ lịch sử dân Chúa như một giao ước. Mẹ báo trước những biến cố sẽ đến. Qua Mẹ, Thiên Chúa gửi thông điệp của Người đến để thực thi công lý.
