Hay phải phủ phục và tôn thờ vẻ uy nghiêm của Người, dẫn đến việc quên rằng Người được sinh ra làm người như chúng ta?</p><p class="MsoNormal">Từ quan điểm này, các Kitô hữu có thể cảm thấy rằng cầu nguyện với Đức Maria đơn giản hơn, người ta có thể hành xử một cách tự nhiên, ít e sợ hơn. Chung quy lại, như Péguy đã nói, Đức Maria, đó là "Người phụ nữ trong gia đình chúng ta", một người mẹ biết được những nỗi bận tâm, lo lắng của mọi người mẹ: Chắc chắn có thể cậy trông vào Đức Maria với niềm tin tưởng của một đứa trẻ đối với mẹ mình.</p><p class="MsoNormal">Tuy nhiên, một cách đúng đắn, chính sự tin tưởng, âm điệu cảm xúc, dựa vào mối quan hệ mẹ - con, có thể làm chúng ta chán ngây trong việc cầu nguyện với Mẹ Maria. Chẳng lẽ không có ở đó sự thụt lùi, ấu trĩ hay sao?</p><p class="MsoNormal">Cũng như việc cầu nguyện với Mẹ Maria kiểm tra phương thức chúng ta đưa vào một cách thực tế sự hiện diện của Đức Kitô trong thân xác chúng ta.
