mặc lấy xác phàm của loài người mà Con Chúa đã cư ngụ giữa chúng ta. Ngôi
Lời của Chúa Cha đã lãnh nhận nguy cơ to lớn của Nhập Thể. Người đã mạo hiểm
đối với sự chối từ của những người yêu chuộng bóng tối đồng lõa hơn là ánh
sáng của sự thật mất lòng. Người mặc khải cho dân được tuyển chọn và cho
muôn dân nước. Người là nguyên nhân của những lời xì xẩm, đả kích; Người đã
làm phát sinh sự chối từ và thiếu cảm thông. Người đã mang đến sự gắn bó và
lòng ngưỡng mộ, Người đã gầy dựng niềm tin và phó thác hoàn toàn vào Lời của
Người. Thậm chí, Người còn đi đến việc cho thịt của mình làm của ăn. Thân
xác Người theo ngôn ngữ của thánh Gioan
là toàn vẹn con người cụ thể, là tất cả hiện thực nhân tính và thần tính của
Người, là tất cả những gì Người đã làm, đã nói nơi vùng đất Palestine. Điều
