được ban tặng là để ta bén rễ sâu hơn trong Thiên Chúa, và theo cách
diễn tả của thánh Phaolô, là để sự tương đồng với khuôn mẫu thần linh
của ta thêm mạnh mẽ hơn, và sự kết hợp thêm mật thiết hơn. Và đây là bí
quyết để hiện thực kế hoạch này, cũng là kế hoạch của chính Thiên Chúa:
quên mình, từ bỏ chính mình, không cậy dựa vào sức mình, nhưng chỉ cậy
trông vào Thiên Chúa mà thôi, đón nhận mọi sự như thể chúng trực tiếp
đến từ tình yêu Thiên Chúa, dù là niềm vui hay đau buồn; điều đó nâng
tâm hồn ta lên những chiều cao hết sức thanh tịnh!<br>
Những gì không được làm cho Thiên Chúa và cùng với Thiên Chúa là điều
trống rỗng! Tôi cầu xin anh em, hãy làm mọi sự với dấu ấn của tình yêu!
Chỉ có tình yêu mới tồn tại! Tôi đặt niềm tin của tôi trong sự hiện diện
của Thiên Chúa, nhờ Thiên Chúa tình yêu luôn cư ngụ trong tâm hồn chúng
ta. Tôi thú nhận với anh em điều này: chính mối liên hệ thâm sâu với
Thiên Chúa là ánh mặt trời rạng rỡ soi chiếu cuộc đời tôi, và làm cho
đời tôi nên như một thiên đàng.<br>
"Hãy ở lại trong Thầy". Chính Lời Chúa đã thể hiện ước muốn này. Hãy ở
lại trong Thầy, không phải ở lại trong vài khắc vài giờ chóng qua, nhưng
"hãy ở lại" luôn mãi. Thiên Chúa Ba Ngôi là nơi cư ngụ của ta, là "chỗ
ở" của ta và là nhà cha ta, nơi ta không rời bỏ bao giờ.</span></font></p>
