các thụ tạo hữu hình như chúng phải được sử dụng, giống như khi bạn sử
dụng mặt đất, biển cả, bầu trời, không khí, sông ngòi và những gì đẹp đẽ
tuyệt vời, hãy sử dụng chúng để ca tụng và vinh danh Thiên Chúa. Đừng
chỉ chú tâm vào vì sao lấp lánh vốn chỉ là niềm vui của chim muông, rắn
rết, dã thú, súc vật và sâu bọ. Hãy để cho các giác quan bạn được ánh
sáng thần linh chạm đến, và bằng tất cả sự tập trung của tâm trí, hãy
đón nhận ánh sáng đích thật, ánh sáng sẽ đến thế gian để chiếu soi mọi
người (Ga 1,9)... Quả vậy, nếu chúng ta là đền thờ của Thiên Chúa, và
Thần Khí Thiên Chúa hằng ngự trong chúng ta, thì mỗi tín hữu mang lấy
trong tâm hồn còn đáng giá hơn những gì họ chiêm ngưỡng trên trời.<br>
Cũng vậy, bạn thân mến, sở dĩ chúng tôi cho bạn những lời khuyên nhủ
này, không phải để làm cho bạn coi thường các công trình của Thiên Chúa,
hay để bạn nghĩ rằng trong những điều tốt đẹp mà Thiên Chúa nhân từ đã
dựng nên, có thể có điều gì nghịch với đức tin bạn; nhưng là để bạn sử
dụng có chừng mực, và theo lý trí hướng dẫn, mọi vẻ đẹp của các loài thọ
tạo và mọi sự hoàn mỹ của thế giới này. Chúng ta được sinh ra cho cuộc
sống hiện tại, nhưng được tái sinh cho cuộc sống mai sau.</span></font></p>
