"Phụng vụ, nguồn sống thiêng liêng”</span></p>

Phụng vụ là nguồn sống của mọi Kitô hữu: phụng vụ hằng ngày, thánh lễ thường
nhật, cầu nguyện cộng đoàn trải dài mọi ngày trong tuần. <span class="GramE">
Phụng vụ có cùng cấp độ của việc bảo trì - như người ta "bảo trì" một khu
vườn - như cấp bậc của ngày lễ.</span> <span class="GramE">Vì thế, nói về
phụng vụ và về đời sống thiêng liêng là nhấn mạnh trên chiều kích "nguồn"
của phụng vụ.</span> Để nếm hưởng nguồn sống ấy, khi biết rằng từ đó cùng
lúc tuôn ra cả nước mang lại sự sống cũng như rượu làm cho say.
<span class="GramE">Như thế có nghĩa là để nếm nguồn sống ấy với cả hữu thể
của mình chứ không phải chỉ với trí óc của ta thôi.</span></span></p>

Để nhận biết phụng vụ như nguồn sống, cần phải năng đến với phụng vụ, và
phải đến với tâm hồn trong trắng, gần giống như Hoàng Tử Bé đã thuần phục
con cáo vậy.</span></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">
Trong thế giới mà người ta chỉ chuộng cái nhất thời và khoảnh khắc chóng
qua, phụng vụ chỉ có thể là nguồn của sự sống thiêng liêng nếu ta năng đến
với phụng vụ với lòng tôn kính...</span></p>

Nếu như phụng vụ là nguồn sự sống thiêng liêng, là bởi vì qua phụng vụ,
<span class="GramE">ân</span> sủng của Thiên Chúa được ban tặng cho chúng
ta. <span class="GramE">Ân</span> sủng là quà tặng của Thiên Chúa trong
chúng ta nhờ phép rửa, quà tặng ấy không đến từ chúng ta nhưng từ Thánh Thần
vẫn hằng hoạt động trong đời sống chúng ta... Khi đó, những cản trở cho sự
phát triển thiêng liêng của chúng ta không phải do bởi tội lỗi của chúng ta
nữa, nhưng là do chúng ta thiếu chú trọng và đón nhận <span class="GramE">ân</span>
sủng của Thiên Chúa.</span></p>
