Hành động của đức tin</span></p>

Giống như các Tông Đồ, nếu chúng ta muốn Thiên Chúa gia tăng "đức tin cho
chúng ta", thì chúng ta phải đặt đức tin của chúng ta trong Thiên Chúa.
Chúng ta tiêu hao quá nhiều năng lượng để học hành, xây dựng sự nghiệp, kiếm
tiền, được thăng tiến, giỏi một môn thể thao hay giải trí, nhưng được gì!
Pierre van Breen, tu sĩ dòng Tên, ghi nhận: "Mỗi tương quan với Thiên Chúa
vượt lên trên tất cả các mỗi tương quan khác, chúng ta không bị chi phối bởi
bất cứ sự lôi cuốn nào..." Đức tin là một hồng <span class="GramE">ân</span>
Thiên Chúa ban tặng. Nhưng Người ban cho chúng ta đặc sủng này như người làm
vườn ủy thác những cây đẹp nhất của mình cho những "học viên" là chúng ta.
Vậy, chúng ta phải làm cỏ trong tâm hồn mình, vun xới mảnh đất cằn cỗi đầy
hoài nghi của chúng ta, tạo ra nhiều mảnh đất màu mỡ với chất mùn là Lời
Chúa và nước hằng sống là lời cầu nguyện... Đức tin là một công việc...
<span class="GramE">Chúng ta phải làm lớn lên và mang đến cho thế giới niềm
hy vọng mà Thiên Chúa đã đặt trong chúng ta vào ngày chúng ta chịu Phép Rửa.</span>
Thánh Phaolô đã viết điều này cho ông Timôthê: "Tôi nhắc anh phải khơi dậy
đặc sủng của Thiên Chúa, đặc sủng mà anh đã nhận được khi tôi đặt tay trên
anh" (2Tm 1<span class="GramE">,6</span>). Bước theo sau Chúa Giêsu, đó là
từ từ bước ra khỏi bóng đêm kém đức tin của chúng ta, đi về bình minh của sự
Phục Sinh, mỗi ngày đi vào hơn nữa trong ý thức mình là con cái được "Đấng
Tối Cao" yêu mến.</span></p>
