Trước hết, bài hát là khúc ca cảm tạ, diễn tả lòng tin của Mẹ vào Thiên

Maria không bận tâm đến địa vị của mình.</span> <span class="GramE">Mẹ vội
vàng rời khỏi Nadarét và để cho thánh cả Giuse phải đối mặt với những suy
nghĩ mâu thuẫn.</span> <span class="GramE">Mẹ vững tin vào Thiên Chúa và
không một phút giây chậm trễ, Mẹ cất lên lời ca ngợi.</span> Mẹ Maria là
thiếu nữ Xion được miêu tả trong Cựu Ước: "Reo vui lên, hỡi thiếu nữ Xion.
Hò vang dậy đi nào, nhà Ítraen hỡi! <span class="GramE">Hỡi thiếu nữ
Giêrusalem, hãy nức lòng phấn khởi."</span> (Xp 3<span class="GramE">,14</span>)</span></p>

Thiên Chúa, Đấng Cứu Chuộc của Mẹ... Mẹ yêu mến Thiên Chúa hết lòng, hết
sức, hết linh hồn và hết trí khôn Mẹ. Thật tốt đẹp biết mấy khi chúng ta
ngắm nhìn Mẹ Maria với mọi khoảnh khắc của cuộc đời Mẹ…</span></p>
