Các Thiên Thần Hộ Thủ</span></p>

Các thiên thần là "những người bé nhỏ" dẫn chúng ta vào bản văn nói về "tính
cộng đoàn" trong Tin Mừng <span class="GramE">theo</span> thánh Mátthêu.
Thật vậy, Chúa Giêsu ưu tiên nhắc đến các em nhỏ để trả lời cho câu hỏi rất
tự phát của các môn đệ về "thứ bậc" trong Nước Trời: "Thầy bảo thật anh em:
nếu anh em không trở nên như trẻ nhỏ, thì sẽ chẳng được vào Nước Trời". Cần
phải có một sự đảo ngược đối với những ai tự đề cao mình, cần có một con
đường biến đổi: để trở nên những gì chúng ta là, những người bé nhỏ mong chờ
<span class="GramE">ân</span> sủng của Chúa Cha.</span></p>

Chính vì vậy, các thiên thần có sứ mệnh đến bên con người để nâng đỡ, như
Thánh vịnh đã nói: "Người đã truyền lệnh cho các thiên thần của Người gìn
giữ bạn trên mọi nẻo đường bạn đi". Chúng ta là những người hay thay đổi,
không kiên định, vì vậy như thánh Gioan Kim Khẩu diễn tả "chúng ta phải như
một thiên thần của hòa bình, một người dẫn đường trung thành, một người gác
cổng tâm hồn và thân thể chúng ta". Trong sự cảm tạ vì <span class="GramE">
ân</span> huệ che chở của các thiên thần, chúng ta hãy khám phá nhiều hơn
nữa niềm vui được sống và ca ngợi Thiên Chúa trong sự đồng hành với các
thiên thần.</span></p>
