Suy niệm Lời Chúa và sự thinh lặng chính là sự nối kết lẫn nhau, vì Thiên Chúa là mầu nhiệm của sự thinh lặng. Lời Chúa diễn tả sự thinh lặng ẩn sâu nơi Ba Ngôi Thiên Chúa, "Ba ngôi Thiên Chúa, người bạn của sự thinh lặng", như lời mời gọi của </span><span lang="FR" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif">Adam </span><span style="font-size:
12.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">de Perseigne. Và ai có thể dám chỉ dùng một từ duy nhất để mặc khải những điều bí ẩn nơi Thiên Chúa. "Chúa Cha chỉ dùng một lời, đó là Đấng Cứu Độ, là Con của Ngài. Người diễn tả trong sự thinh lặng vĩnh cửu, và trong chính sự thinh lặng đó, tâm hồn chúng ta cần phải lắng nghe" (Thánh Gioan Thánh Giá).</span></p><p class="Bodytext0" style="text-indent: 25.0pt; line-height: 18.9pt; margin-left: 2.0pt; margin-right: 1.0pt; margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: 6.0pt; background:"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Sự thinh lặng của Chúa Giêsu nơi máng cỏ và nơi Thập Giá, chỉ là một biểu hiện rõ ràng về Lời Hằng Sống. Vào lễ Giáng sinh, chúng ta tưởng nhớ sự thinh lặng của Chúa Giêsu nhập thể làm người. Và trong khi chịu khổ hình, Người đã thinh lặng khi đứng trước Philatô.
