Yêu mến tựa như một dòng suối nước mát ngọt khỏa Ịấp bề mặt tâm hồn ta; đối với trẻ em, điều đó làm cho chúng cảm thấy rất hạnh phúc, vì chúng có rất nhiều điều để yêu mến, để chiêm ngưỡng. Chúa Kitô, Con Thiên Chúa, Người sẽ không bao giờ có được sự sống đời đời của con người, nếu Người không phải là sự yêu mến đời đời của con người. Chúng ta hoàn toàn có thể biết và hiểu được Chúa Ki tô, nhưng Người không bao giờ có thể là cuộc sống và niềm hy vọng của chúng ta, bởi vì chúng ta không yêu mến Người.
