nghe nói về đời sống của tôi trước kia, khi theo đạo Do-thái: tôi đã
bắt bớ và phá hoại Hội Thánh của Thiên Chúa thái quá. Trong đạo Do-thái,
tôi đã vượt hẳn nhiều bạn đồng giống nòi, đồng tuổi với tôi, và tôi
nhiệt thành hơn bất cứ ai đối với truyền thống của cha ông tôi.</span></p>

riêng tôi ra từ lòng mẹ, và dùng ơn Người mà kêu gọi tôi, để tôi rao

xác thịt máu huyết, và tôi không lên Giêrusalem để gặp các vị làm
tông đồ trước tôi, nhưng tôi đi ngay đến Arabia, rồi lại trở về
Ðamas. Ðoạn ba năm sau, tôi mới lên Giêrusalem để gặp Phêrô, và lưu
lại với ông mười lăm ngày. Tôi không gặp một tông đồ nào khác, ngoài
Giacôbê, anh em của Chúa. Những điều này tôi viết cho anh em, đây
trước mặt Thiên Chúa, tôi không nói dối.</span></p>

miền Syria và Cilicia. Nhưng các giáo đoàn của Ðức Kitô ở xứ Giuđêa
chưa biết mặt tôi, họ chỉ nghe đồn rằng: "Người xưa kia bắt bớ chúng
ta, giờ đây lại rao giảng đức tin mà thuở trước ông muốn bài trừ",
và vì tôi, họ ngợi khen Thiên Chúa.</span></p>

một làng kia, và có một phụ nữ tên là Martha rước Người vào nhà
mình. Bà có người em gái tên là Maria ngồi bên chân Chúa mà nghe lời
Người. Martha bận rộn với việc thết đãi khách. Bà đứng lại thưa
Người rằng: "Lạy Thầy, em con để con hầu hạ một mình mà Thầy không
quan tâm sao? Xin Thầy bảo em con giúp con với".</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black">Nhưng Chúa đáp: "Martha,
Martha, con lo lắng bối rối về nhiều chuyện (quá). Chỉ có một sự cần
mà thôi, Maria đã chọn phần tốt nhất và sẽ không bị ai lấy mất".</span></p>

thủ đô Giêrusalem độ ba cây số. Nơi đây có một gia đình đạo đức mà
Chúa Giêsu rất yêu quí, đó là gia đình chị Martha, Maria và Ladarô.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 15.0pt; margin: 4.5pt 0in">
<span style="font-size: 12pt; color: black">Lúc Chúa tới, Martha lo
lắng chuẩn bị bữa ăn, trong lúc Maria ngồi yên bên Chúa để nghe
Người giảng dạy. Câu trả lời của Ðức Giêsu trước lời đề nghị của
Martha không có nghĩa là Ðức Giêsu phủ nhận tất cả sự quan tâm lo
lắng của Martha, nhưng Ðức Giêsu muốn cho thấy một điều cao quí hơn,
đó là lắng nghe Lời Chúa. Lo lắng cho Chúa là điều đáng quí, nhưng
để hết tâm trí để nghe Lời Ngài mà thực hành theo lại còn quí hơn.</span></p>

lo vật chất sẽ được Chúa giúp giải quyết sau. Amen.</span></div>
