làm sao đừng để tay trái biết việc tay phải làm, để việc con bố thí được

<font size="3">Bài Phúc Âm hôm nay là những lời dạy bảo của Ðức Giêsu
cho các môn đệ của Ngài và cũng là cho tất cả chúng ta. Ngài phân tích
rõ những việc làm phô trương của bọn người giả hình. Những công việc họ
làm, những luật lệ họ giữ, không phát xuất từ tấm lòng yêu mến, mà chỉ
vì lợi danh. Phần thưởng của họ không còn gì hơn là vinh quang nơi trần
thế. Còn người môn đệ Ðức Giêsu phải làm vì vinh quang Nước Trời.</font></p>

Chúa không ngừng dạy dỗ chúng con những phương thế để trở nên trọn lành.
Xin cho chúng con nhận biết mình chỉ là tro bụi và sẽ trở về bụi tro.
Trong Mùa Chay này, xin cho chúng con được sốt sắng tuân giữ các giới
luật của Chúa bằng tấm lòng yêu mến, hầu được ơn tha thứ và canh tân đời
sống, xứng đáng mừng mầu nhiệm Vượt Qua của Con Chúa. Chúng con cầu xin

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Saint-Exupéry không viết
Phúc âm, nhưng ông đã đặt vào miệng Cậu Bé Hoàng Tử một câu r<span lang="EN-US">ấ</span>t
Phúc âm: "Điều cốt yếu thì vô hình... người ta chỉ nhìn thấy bằng con
tim.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Trong trang Tin mừng này,
Chúa Giêsu đã giới thiệu Chúa Cha cho chúng ta như một người không thích
<span lang="EN-US">ồ</span>n ào, đ<span lang="EN-US">ể</span> cho người
ta chú ý đến mình, Người cũng không thích cái đầu óc lợi dụng.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Một điệp khúc nhấn mạnh
những lời chỉ dạy của Chúa Giêsu trong mùa Chay: "Họ đã được ph<span lang="EN-US">ầ</span>n
thưởng rồi", những kẻ chỉ mong mình được người ta nghe và thấy. Một điệp
khúc khác cũng tr<span lang="EN-US">ở</span> lại ba lần: "Cha của anh em,
Đấng thấu suốt những gì kín đáo, sẽ trả lại cho anh em...". Đó là điều
bí mật của con tim, và chỉ điều bí mật đó mà Thiên Chúa nhìn và trả lời.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify">Nhưng nếu Thiên Chúa
thấu suốt những gì kín đáo, chắc hẳn là để cho của anh em bố thí, hay

nhìn và nghe những gì bề ngoài. Thời gian mùa Chay, một thời gian nội
tâm hóa, hầu để Thiên Chúa nhìn chúng ta; một thời gian chiêm ngưỡng để
nhìn anh em chúng ta, cũng như Thiên Chúa nhìn, bằng con tim.</p>
