Cha. Sao con lại nói: 'Xin tỏ cho chúng con xem thấy Cha?' Con không tin
Thầy ở trong Cha, và Cha ở trong Thầy ư? Những điều Thầy nói với các
con, không phải tự mình mà nói, nhưng chính Cha ở trong Thầy, Ngài làm
mọi việc. Các con hãy tin rằng Thầy ở trong Cha, và Cha ở trong Thầy. Ít
ra các con hãy tin vì các việc Thầy đã làm. Thật, Thầy bảo thật các con:
Ai tin vào Thầy, người ấy sẽ làm được những việc Thầy đã làm. Người ấy
còn làm được những việc lớn lao hơn, vì Thầy về với Cha. Và điều gì các
con nhân danh Thầy mà xin Cha, Thầy sẽ làm, để Cha được vinh hiển trong
Con. Nếu điều gì các con nhân danh Thầy mà xin cùng Thầy, Thầy sẽ làm
cho".</font></p>

Chúa Cha..."</span></a></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black">"Thầy là con đường, là
sự thật, và là sự sống; không ai đến được với Chúa Cha mà không qua Thầy".
Câu nói của Chúa Giêsu có vẻ đơn giản và rõ ràng. Nhưng khi Người vừa
nói câu đó thì Philipphê liền hỏi: "Thưa Thầy, xin tỏ cho chúng con thấy
Chúa Cha, như thế là chúng con mãn nguyện". Philipphê dường như muốn đi
nhanh đến mục tiêu nhìn thấy Thiên Chúa mà không mất thời gian đi đường,
con đường đức tin và sự sống mà Chúa Giêsu đã đề ra. Con đường Chúa đề
xuất cho ông Philipphê và mỗi người trong chúng ta, đó là con đường ngắm
nhìn cuộc sống trần thế của Người, đón nhận lời Người, để chúng ta vững
tin trước cuộc thương khó và thập giá của Người, để tiếp nhận chứng tá
của các môn đệ về sự phục sinh của Người để khám phá ra công trình của
Chúa, để đọc được những đường nét trên khuôn mặt của Người, là nét mặt
của chính Thiên Chúa tỏ hiện ra cho nhân loại. Chúng ta không có biểu
tượng nào khác của Thiên Chúa ngoài Chúa Giêsu, chúng ta không có con
đường đến đức tin nào khác ngoài cách đặt bước chân chúng ta trong dấu
chân của Người. Nhưng chúng ta có niềm xác tín là khi chiêm ngưỡng Chúa,
khi đi theo đường của Chúa Giêsu, chúng ta sẽ đến với Chúa Cha. Chúa
Giêsu còn nói thêm câu nói gây kinh ngạc này: "Ai tin vào Thầy, thì
người đó cũng sẽ làm được những việc Thầy làm..." Câu nói này chỉ cho
chúng ta biết rằng, trên con đường đó chúng ta đã được ban cho Thần khí
của Chúa Kitô. Thế nên chúng ta phải tin vào điều này!</span></p>
