mà thánh Gioan nhìn thấy trong cơn xuất thần không ai
khác đó chính là Đức Nữ Trinh Maria, Nữ Vương trời đất.
Hình ảnh này cũng là hình ảnh đã thấy xuất hiện ngay ở
buổi đầu sáng tạo. Khi Thiên Chúa tuyên án phạt Satan,
con rắn già hỏa ngục vì sự dối trá của nó, cùng với
Nguyên Tổ là Adong, Evà vì tội không vâng lời mà ăn trái
cấm: “Ta sẽ đặt mối thù giữa ngươi và người phụ nữ. Giữa
miêu duệ ngươi và miêu duệ người phụ nữ. Người sẽ đạp
nát đầu ngươi, còn ngươi thì rình cắn gót chân người.”
(Gen 3:15)</span></font></p>

Giêsu con lòng bà chính là người miêu duệ đã đạp dập đầu
Satan, đã chiến thắng sự chết, đã phục sinh từ cõi chết,
và đã về trời trong vinh hiển. Chính người miêu duệ ấy,
hôm nay lại cùng với triều thần thánh đón rước mẹ của
mình về trời cả hồn lẫn xác. Với vinh thăng cao cả ấy,
lời phán năm xưa nay đã được thực hiện cách trọn vẹn.
Thánh Phaolô đã diễn tả chiến thắng ấy như sau: “Kẻ thù
cuối cùng bị tiêu diệt là sự chết.” (1 Cor 15:16)</span></font></p>

người nữ, nhưng Đấng đạp nát đầu con rắn lại không phải

Thiên Chúa đem Mẹ hồn xác về trời, Ngài đã làm cho việc
phục sinh và lên trời của mình được lặp lại nơi chính
con người của lời hứa - Đức Trinh Nữ Maria - người nữ
đồng trinh năm xưa. Và Mẹ cũng là người đã chiến thắng
thần chết nhờ vinh quang của Con mình. Chiến thắng này
đã trở thành bình minh mới cho con người tội lỗi, cho
con cháu Evà nơi chốn châu lụy, và là niềm hy vọng cho
tất cả toàn thể nhân loại. Vì một ngày kia sau khi đã từ
giã cõi trần, tất cả những kẻ có lòng tin sẽ được cùng
Mẹ về trời hưởng vinh quang thiên quốc. Điều này Giáo
Hội vẫn hằng dạy chúng ta cầu xin với Mẹ: “Thánh Maria
Đức Mẹ Chúa Trời, cầu cho chúng con là kẻ có tội, khi
nay và trong giờ lâm tử.” Và “đến sau cõi đời này xin
cho chúng con được thấy Chúa Giêsu quả phúc bởi lòng
Mẹ.” </span></font></p>

Giêsu lên trời mang theo một ý nghĩa khác với việc Mẹ
được đưa về trời. Chúa Giêsu, do quyền lực Thiên Chúa
sống lại từ cõi chết. Ngài về lại nơi Ngài đã xuất
phát. Nhưng một con cháu Adong, Evà như Đức Maria thì
sao? Điều này chỉ nói lên rằng nhờ sự sống lại của Chúa
Giêsu đã biến đổi tình trạng cuộc sống của chúng ta nên
như Ngài. Nó đem lại niềm tin rằng “sự sống” của con
người không bị giới hạn trong một thời gian nhất định
trên trái đất. Nó nay đã vươn đến vô biên, đến vinh
quang Thiên Chúa, ở đó không còn đau khổ, không còn bệnh
tật, nghèo đói, không còn khóc lóc, không còn chết chóc,
và ngay cả tội lỗi cũng không bén bảng đến được.</span></font></p>

là bị đánh bại. Bị hủy diệt. Chúng ta sẽ tiếp tục cảm
nghiệm được điều này trong suốt cuộc sống nơi trần thế,
và đặc biệt vào giờ sau hết. Nhờ chiến thắng của Chúa
Giêsu, nhờ sự về trời cả hồn lẫn xác của Mẹ, giờ lâm tử,
đúng ra không phải như một ngọn nến vụt tắt trước gió,
một tim đèn bị dập tắt, nhưng như Mẹ, là “đi vào giấc
ngủ” và khi tỉnh dậy thì thấy những điều mà mắt không hề
thấy, tai nghe nhưng âm thanh chưa bao giờ được nghe, và
lòng trí chưa bao giờ tưởng tượng (x. 1 Cor 15:6). Và
điều này làm trọn lời hứa mà Chúa Giêsu đã hứa với các
môn đệ của Ngài trong bữa Tiệc Ly: “Thầy sẽ… đem các con
về với Thầy, để Thầy ở đâu, các con cũng ở đó với Thầy.”
(Gioan 14:3)</span></font></p>
