không chừng. Cứ tưởng Mỹ là một đất nước trọng tôn luật pháp,

thống “ngủ gật” hay tổng thống “tỉnh ngủ”, tổng thống “bù nhìn”
hay tổng thống “không bù nhìn”, chủ tịch tham nhũng hay không
tham nhũng, chủ tịch độc tài hay không độc tài… Tất cả cũng chỉ
là những con người với đầy đủ tham sân si, và giới hạn về thể
lý, tâm lý và khối óc. Cũng chỉ vì quyền lợi cá nhân, quyền lợi
phe nhóm, quyền lợi đảng phái, và thỏa mãn tâm lý quyền lực. Khổ
nỗi về phía quần chúng, tâm thức chung của con người thời đại
hôm nay đang hướng dẫn họ đến những chọn lựa như thế trong hầu
hết mọi lãnh vực. Về phần Thiên Chúa, Ngài không làm chuyện này
vì Ngài đã ban cho con người quyền tự do và khối óc, và Ngài tôn
trọng những quyết định của con người.</span></p>

lại khiến tôi nhớ đến một số câu hỏi của độc giả gần đây đã gửi
về, đại khái cũng hỏi: Thiên Chúa có trong đại dịch Covid không?
Ngài có nhìn thấy nỗi thống khổ của người dân Việt trong hoàn
cảnh dịch bệnh không? Và xa hơn nữa, một câu hỏi mà tôi đã có
lần chia sẻ với độc giả: “Does God is a violent person?” Câu hỏi
này đến từ một người trẻ có học thức, có trình độ hiểu biết
chuyên môn. Theo đó, người hỏi đặt vấn đề, tại sao Thiên Chúa
không nhìn đến những nỗi khổ của người lành, người thấp cổ, bé
miệng, những người bị ức hiếp, bóc lột và chà đạp. Họ mang thân
phận bất hạnh, bị đối xử bất công, ngược lại, những kẻ gian ác,
gian dối, lợi dụng quyền thế lại giầu sang, sống trong nhung
lụa, và hạnh phúc. </span></p>

những tai ương đã và đang rình rập đổ xuống trên trái đất và cho
con người, nó như một post traumatic đã xảy ra cho từng cá nhân,
từng gia đình, và chung cho toàn thể nhân loại, khiến con người
luôn cảm thấy bất an, bất công, vô lý, và không còn tin tưởng
vào tình thương, sự quan phòng tốt lành của Thiên Chúa. </span></p>

tạo dựng mọi loài nhưng Ngài không bảo người mạnh đàn áp kẻ
yếu, cường quốc xâm chiếm nhược quốc, dân này diệt trừ và
thống trị dân kia. Là Đấng tạo dựng đất trời, Ngài có đó trong
các cuộc chiến tranh, động đất, thiên tai, sóng thần, hỏa
hoạn… Và chúng ta cũng tin chắc rằng Ngài có mặt trong biến cố
mới nhất đang ảnh hưởng trầm trọng đến mọi lãnh vực, trực tiếp,
gián tiếp liên quan đến đời sống con người trên toàn trái đất là
đại dịch Vũ Hán (Covid-19).</span></p>

nhiên mà con người và từng người chúng ta có mặt trên cõi đời
này. Thánh Kinh ghi rõ: “Đức Chúa đã gọi tôi từ khi tôi còn
trong lòng mẹ, lúc tôi chưa chào đời, Ngài đã nhắc đến tên tôi”
(Is 49:1). Như vậy, nguyên việc con người có mặt trên cõi đời
này đã là một quan phòng đầy yêu thương của Thiên Chúa. Sự có
mặt của tôi, của anh, của chị, của em hay của bất cứ ai cũng đều
do quan phòng yêu thương của Ngài mà có. Đối với việc tạo dựng
nên con người, Thánh Giáo Phụ Tiến Sĩ Augustine đã nói: “Nguyên
một việc đưa ta từ hư vô ra hiện hữu đã là một ân huệ lớn lao
của Thiên Chúa rồi”. Thử hỏi, một trăm năm trước tôi ở đâu? Ai
biết đến tôi? Và tôi cũng đã biết đến mình chưa? Rồi một trăm
năm sau tôi sẽ đi về đâu? Đâu là điểm xuất phát và điểm đến của
tôi? Chưa hết, sau khi đã tạo dựng, đưa ta vào hiện hữu, thì
Ngài vẫn không bỏ ta, vì: “Nếu có một giây phút nào Thiên Chúa
quên không nghĩ đến ta, thì lập tức ta sẽ trở về hư vô ngay.”

biết, nhà triết học, toán học, và khoa học người Pháp là Pasteur
Pascal đã nói một câu rất chí lý: “Khoa học tinh thông làm ta
gần Chúa. Khoa học nông cạn làm ta xa Chúa”. Cái biết tinh thông
phát xuất từ niềm tin trong sáng, khiêm tốn. Còn cái biết nông
cạn phát xuất từ khối óc tự nhiên và kiêu ngạo. Có rất nhiều
điều mà trí khôn con người cho là vô lý, nhưng nó lại có lý
trước cặp mắt đức tin. Nhiều người hôm nay đang dựa vào Thuyết
Tiến Hóa hay thuyết Big Bang để từ chối quyền năng sáng tạo của
Thiên Chúa. Và câu trả lời cho những suy tư tự nhiên của trí óc
con người, đó là, sẽ chẳng có gì ngẫu nhiên mà có cả. </span></p>

Thiên Chúa tạo dựng đều tốt đẹp. Chúng hằng ngày ca tụng những
kỳ công do chính tay Ngài sáng tạo.</span></p>
