Phъc nаy, cần phải giải thнch э nghĩa của chữ "hтa bмnh"</span>,
một từ ngữ cу thể bị hiểu lầm hay đфi khi bị tầm thường
hуa. Chъng ta cần phải định hướng giữa hai э tưởng về
hтa bмnh: <span style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">э nghĩa
thứ nhất về thбnh kinh</span>, nơi xuất hiện <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">chữ <em>shalom</em></span> mỹ miều, <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">một từ ngữ cho thấy những gм lа sung mгn,
thịnh vượng vа phъc hạnh</span>. Khi người ta chъc nhau
bằng tiếng Do Thбi lời <em>shalom </em>lа người ta mong
muốn cу được một đời sống tốt đẹp, trọn vẹn, dồi dаo,
nhưng đồng thời cũng hợp với chвn lэ vа cфng lэ, một đời
sống tốt đẹp sẽ được viкn trọn nơi Đấng Thiкn Sai, Đức
Vua Hтa Bмnh (Cf. Isaiah 9:6;<em
style="box-sizing: border-box"> Micah </em>5:4-5).</p>

Thế rồi chữ <span style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">"hтa
bмnh" cтn cу một э nghĩa khбc</span> nữa, bao rộng hơn,
một hтa bмnh <span style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">được
hiểu như lа một loại thanh bмnh lặng lẽ</span>: Tфi cảm
thấy trầm lặng, tфi cảm thấy bмnh an. Đу lа một э nghĩ
tвn tiến, cу tнnh cбch tвm lэ vа khкu gợi hơn. <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">Người ta thường nghĩ rằng bмnh an lа thinh
lặng, hтa hợp vа quвn bмnh nội tвm.</span> Э nghĩa nаy
về chữ "hтa bмnh" chưa trọn vа cу thể bị tuyệt đối hуa,
vм <span style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">trong đời sống
tнnh chất khắc khoải cу thể lа một giвy phъt quan trọng
của việc tăng trưởng.</span> Thường chнnh Chъa lа Đấng
gieo vгi nỗi khắc khoải trong chъng ta, để tмm đến hội
ngộ với Ngаi, để gặp gỡ Ngаi. Theo nghĩa nаy thм <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">nỗi khắc khoải lа một giвy phъt tăng trưởng;
trong khi đу cу thể xẩy ra trường hợp tмnh trạng bмnh
lặng nội tвm hợp với một thứ lương tвm được thuần hуa
thфi, chứ khфng phải lа một sự cứu chuộc thiкng liкng
chвn thực</span>. Nhiều lần Chъa cần phải trở thаnh "dấu
hiệu xung khắc" (Cf. <em style="box-sizing: border-box">Luke </em>2:43-35),
lаm cho những thứ an toаn giả tạo của chъng ta lung lay,
để dẫn chъng ta đến ơn cứu độ. Nкn ở vаo những lъc ấy
dường như khфng cтn bмnh an nữa, nhưng chнnh Chъa đưa
chъng ta trкn con đường nаy, để đạt tới sự bмnh an chнnh
Người sẽ ban cho chъng ta.</p>

Đến đвy chъng ta cần phải nhớ rằng Chъa hiểu <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">bмnh an của Người khбc với của nhвn loại,
khбc với của thế gian</span>, khi Người phбn: "Bмnh an
Thаy để lại cho chъng con; khфng như thế gian cống hiến
cho chъng con" (Gioan 14:27). Bмnh an của Chъa Kitф lа
một thứ bмnh an khбc, khбc với bмnh an của thế gian.
Chъng ta thắc mắc lаm thế nаo thế gian lại cу thể cống
hiến bмnh an chứ? Nếu chъng ta nghĩ về cбc cuộc xung đột
tương tự như cбc cuộc chiến tranh - cбc cuộc chiến tranh
thường kết thъc bằng 2 cбch: một lа việc bại trận của
một bкn, hay lа kэ kết hiệp ước hтa bмnh. Chъng ta chỉ
cу thể hy vọng vа cầu xin để luфn cу được cбch thức thứ
hai; tuy nhiкn, chъng ta cần phải lưu э rằng <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">lịch sử lа một chuỗi hiệp ước hтa bмnh bất
tận bị bẻ cong bởi cбc cuộc chiến tranh liкn tục, hay
bởi tнnh cбch biến thбi của cщng những cuộc chiến như
vậy một cбch khбc vа ở những nơi khбc</span>. Trong thời
đại của chъng ta đвy cũng thế, một cuộc chiến từng phần
đang xẩy ra ở những kịch bản cтn hơn thế nữa, vа bằng
những đường lối khбc. Chъng ta cần phải нt lа nghi vấn
rằng theo khuфn thức của chiều hướng theo một thứ toаn
cầu hуa, được đặc biệt tạo nкn bởi những lợi lộc về kinh
tế vа tаi chнnh, thм "hтa bмnh" của ai đу cу tương hợp
với "chiến tranh" của những ai khбc hay chăng. Đу khфng
phải lа bмnh an của Chъa Kitф!</p>

Thế nhưng, Chъa Giкsu ban bмnh an của Người ra sao?
Chъng ta đг nghe Thбnh Phaolф nуi rằng <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">bмnh an của Chъa Kitф lа để "lаm hai thаnh
một" </span>(Cf. <em style="box-sizing: border-box">Ephesians </em>2:14), <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">lа để hủy bỏ hận thщ vа để hтa giải</span>.<span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)"> Vа cбch thức để hoаn thаnh cфng cuộc hтa
bмnh nаy đу lа thвn mмnh Người</span>. Thật vậy, Người
hтa giải tất cả mọi sự vа ban bмnh an bằng Mбu Thбnh
Thбnh Giб của Người, như được chнnh vị tфng đồ nаy nуi ở
một chỗ khбc (Cf. <em style="box-sizing: border-box">Colossians </em>1:20).
Ở đвy, tфi tự hỏi, tất cả chъng ta đều tự vấn: <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">vậy thм ai lа những "người xвy dựng hтa
bмnh"?</span> Mối Phъc thứ 7 lа những gм chủ động nhất,
những gм năng động rх rаng. Việc diễn đạt bằng ngфn từ
lа những gм giống như từ ngữ được sử dụng ở cвu đầu tiкn
Thбnh Kinh về việc tạo dựng, vа nу cho thấy những gм lа
khởi động vа hаnh sự. <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">Bởi bản chất của mмnh, tмnh yкu lа những gм
sбng tạo - tмnh yкu bao giờ cũng sбng tạo - vа tмm hết
cбch hтa giải bao nhiкu cу thể</span>. Những ai được kкu
gọi lа con cбi của Thiкn Chъa đều biết nghệ thuật hтa
bмnh vа бp dụng thực hаnh nу; họ biết rằng khфng cу
chuyện hтa giải mа lại khфng cống hiến sự sống của mмnh,
vа bao giờ cũng phải tмm kiếm bмnh an bất kể ra sao.
Đừng quкn điều ấy! Bмnh an cần phải được tмm kiếm như
thế. Đу khфng phải lа một cфng việc tự động, cфng lao do
khả năng mмnh cу; nу lа biểu lộ của вn sủng do Chъa Kitф
ban cho, Đấng lа bмnh an của chъng ta, Đấng đг lаm cho
chъng ta trở nкn con cбi của Thiкn Chъa.</p>

sống, nhờ Mбu Chъa Kitф được những người anh em của
