Chъng ta sẽ khởi đầu bằng một trмnh tự trong đời sống
của Chъa Giкsu. Sau cбc phйp lạ đầu tiкn cщng với việc
tham gia của cбc mфn đệ vаo việc loan bбo Nước Thiкn
Chъa thм sứ vụ của Đấng Thiкn Sai trải qua một cuộc
khủng hoảng. Thбnh Gioan Tẩy Giả - bấy giờ đang ở trong
tщ - tỏ ra ngờ vực vа đặt vấn đề với Người rằng: "Фng cу
phải lа đấng phải đến hay chăng, hay chъng tфi phải tмm
một đấng khбc?" (Mt 11:3), vм ngаi cảm thấy một nỗi buồn
khổ như thế bởi ngаi khфng biết ngаi cу sai lầm về việc
tuyкn bố của ngаi (về Đấng Đến Sau ngаi hay chăng). Bao
giờ cũng cу những giвy phъt tăm tối, những giвy phъt бc
mộng thiкng liкng, vа Thбnh Gioan đг trải qua giвy phъt
nаy. Tinh hмnh hận thщ ghen ghйt ở trong cбc khu lаng
dọc theo biển hồ, nơi Chъa Giкsu đг thực hiện quб nhiều
những dấu diệu lạ (see Mt 11:20-24). Vậy mа, chнnh vаo
giвy phъt bất thuận lợi ấy, Thбnh kэ Mathкu lại ghi nhận
một sự kiện thật lа ngỡ ngаng, đу lа Chъa Giкsu khфng
than vгn cщng Chъa Cha thм chớ, trбi lại, Người cтn vang
lкn một bаi thбnh ca hoan hỉ nữa: "Lạy Cha lа Chъa trời
đất, con tạ ơn Cha vм Cha đг giấu kнn những điều nаy
khỏi những ai khфn ngoan kiến thức mа lại tỏ ra cho
những con người bй mọn thфi" (Mt 11:25). Đу, giữa một
cơn khủng hoảng, giữa đкm tối tăm nơi tвm hồn của nhiều
người, như của Gioan Tẩy Giả, Chъa Giкsu chъc tụng Chъa
Cha, Chъa Giкsu ngợi khen Chъa Cha. Tại sao thế?</p>

Trước hết vа trкn hết, Người ngợi khen Ngаi <em>vм Ngаi
lа</em> "Cha, Chъa trời đất". Chъa Giкsu hoan hỉ trong
tвm linh của Người, vм Người biết vа cảm thấy rằng Chъa
của Người lа Vị Thiкn Chъa của Vũ Trụ, hay ngược lại, Vị
Chъa của tất cả mọi sự đang hiện hữu lа Cha: "Cha của
Con". Lời ngợi khen xuất phбt từ cảm nghiệm Người lа
"Con của Đấng Tối Cao". Chъa Giкsu cảm thấy Người lа Con
Đấng Tối Cao.</p>

Sau đу Chъa Giкsu ngợi khen Chъa Cha vм <em>niềm</em> <em>ưu
бi với những con người bй mọn</em>. Đу lа những gм bản
thвn Người cảm nghiệm khi Người rao giảng ở cбc lаng
quк, ở chỗ, thаnh phần "khфn ngoan" vẫn cứ ngờ vực vа
khйp kнn, tнnh toбn; trong khi đу "những kẻ bй mon" lại
cởi mở vа đуn nhận sứ điệp của Người. Đу lа э muốn của
Chъa Cha, nкn Chъa Giкsu tỏ ra hвn hoan. Cả chъng ta nữa
cũng cần phải hoan hỉ vа ngợi khen Thiкn Chъa vм thаnh
phần khiкm tốn vа đơn thаnh đуn nhận Phъc Вm. Khi tфi
thấy những người đơn thаnh nаy, những con người khiкm
tốn ấy, những con người đi hаnh hương, đi cầu nguyện,
hбt ca, ngợi khen, những con người cу lẽ thiếu hụt nhiều
điều nhưng lтng khiкm nhượng của họ lại khiến họ ngợi
khen Thiкn Chъa.... Trong tương lai của thế giới nаy,
cũng như trong niềm hy vọng của Giбo Hội, cу những "kẻ
bй mọn", đу lа những ai khфng coi mмnh ngon lаnh hơn kẻ
khбc, những con người biết được những hạn hữu của mмnh
cщng với tội lỗi của họ, những con người khфng muốn lаm
chủ kẻ khбc, những con người nhмn nhận trong Thiкn Chъa
lа Cha rằng tất cả chъng ta đều lа anh chị em với nhau.</p>

Bởi thế mа trong lъc thất bại xuất hiện, khi mа hết mọi
sự trở nкn tăm tối, thм Chъa Giкsu cầu nguyện, bằng cбch
ngợi khen Chъa Cha. Vа việc cầu nguyện của Người cũng
khiến chъng ta, những con người đọc Phъc Вm, biết phбn
đoбn về những thảm bại của chъng ta một cбch khбc hẳn,
phбn đoбn một cбch khбc hẳn những trường hợp mа chъng ta
khфng thấy rх rаng cу sự hiện diện vа tбc động của Thiкn
Chъa, khi sự dữ dường như thắng thế vа khфng cу cбch nаo
cу thể chặn nу lại. Trong những lъc ấy, Chъa Giкsu, Đấng
đг hết sức khuyкn nhủ việc cầu nguyện bằng việc đặt vấn
đề, ở vаo chнnh lъc Người cу lэ do để yкu cầu Chъa Cha
giải thнch, lại bắt đầu ngợi khen Ngаi. Chuyện nаy như
thể lа những gм mвu thuẫn, nhưng nу lа thế đу, lа một sự
thật.</p>

lợi cho ai đвy?</span> <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">Cho chъng ta hay cho Thiкn Chъa?</span> Bản
văn của phụng vụ Thбnh Thể mời gọi chъng ta cầu nguyện
cщng Thiкn Chъa như thế nаy: "Mặc dщ Chъa chẳng cần việc
ngợi khen của chъng con, nhưng việc chъng con tri вn cảm
tạ chнnh lа tặng вn của Chъa, vм việc ngợi khen của
chъng con chẳng thкm gм cho sự cao cả của Chъa, mа lа
mang lại lợi нch cho phần rỗi của chъng con" (<i>Roman</i> <i>Missal</i>,
Common Preface IV). Chъng ta được cứu độ bằng việc ngợi
khen chъc tụng Chъa.</p>

Việc cầu nguyện ngợi khen lа những gм giъp нch cho chъng
ta. Sбch Giбo Lэ định nghĩa việc cầu nguyện ngợi khen ấy
như thế nаy - cầu nguyện ngợi khen "tham phần vаo hạnh
phъc thаnh hảo của tвm hồn trong sạch, thаnh phần kнnh
mến Thiкn Chъa bằng đức tin, trước khi được ngắm nhмn
Ngаi trong vinh quang" (khoản 2639). Ngược ngạo thay, nу
lại cần phải thực hаnh chẳng những vаo lъc đời sống lаm
cho chъng ta trаn đầy hạnh phъc, mа nhất lа vаo những
lъc khу khăn, những lъc tăm tối khi đường đi trở thаnh
một cuộc leo dốc. Cả bấy giờ cũng lа lъc ngợi khen. Như
Chъa Giкsu trong lъc tối tăm vẫn ngợi khen Chъa Cha. Vм
chъng ta biết rằng, nhờ việc tiến lкn ấy, nhờ con đường
đi khу khăn ấy, nhờ con đường mệt mỏi ấy, những đoạn
đường cam go ấy, chъng ta mới tiến đến chỗ thấy được một
toаn cảnh mới, một chвn trời rộng lớn hơn. <span
style="color: rgb(128, 0, 0)">Dвng lời ngợi khen thм giống như việc thở
dưỡng khн trong lаnh: nу thanh tẩy tвm hồn, nу lаm cho
anh chị em hướng về phнa trước để khỏi bị giam hгm trong
lъc khу khăn, trong đкm tối khốn khу.</span></p>

Một giбo huấn cao cả ở nơi một lời cầu nguyện qua tбm
thế kỷ vẫn chưa hề bị mất đi nhịp điệu của nу, lời cầu
nguyện được Thбnh Phanxicф sбng tбc vаo cuối đời của
ngаi, đу lа "Bаi Ca Anh Mặt Trời" hay "Bаi Ca Cбc Tạo
Vật". Con người<i> nghиo / Poverello </i>nаy đг khфng
sбng tбc lời cầu ấy vаo lъc hвn hoan vui sướng, vаo lъc
phъc hạnh, trбi lại, giữa cơn gian nan khốn khу. Bấy giờ
Thбnh Phanxicф đг gần bị mщ lтa, vа ngаi cảm thấy trong
tвm hồn của ngаi bị đи nặng bởi một nỗi cф độc mа ngаi
chưa bao giờ trải qua trước đу, ở chỗ, thế giới nаy
chẳng thay đổi gм từ khi ngаi bắt đầu rao giảng, vẫn cтn
những con người để mмnh bị xвu xй bởi những cuộc cгi cọ,
ngoаi ra, ngаi nhận thức được ngаi đг gần chết. Đу cу
thể lа lъc vỡ mộng, giвy phъt cực vỡ mộng vа lа lъc ngаi
nhận thức được cuộc thất bại của ngаi. Thế nhưng Thбnh
Phanxicф đг cầu nguyện vаo chнnh giвy phъt đau buồn ấy,
vаo chнnh lъc tăm tối ấy: "Фi Chъa của con ơi, tất cả
xin ngợi khen Chъa". Ngаi cầu nguyện bằng việc dвng lời
ngợi khen. Thбnh Phanxicф ngợi khen Thiкn Chъa cho hết
tất cả mọi sự, cho tất cả cбc tặng вn thiкn nhiкn tạo
vật, vа thậm chн cho cả cбi chết mа ngаi dбm gọi nу lа
"người chị em". Những mẫu gương nаy của cбc vị thбnh,
của Kitф hữu, cũng như của Chъa Giкsu, về việc ngợi khen
Thiкn Chъa trong những lъc khу khăn, lа những gм mở ra
cho chъng ta những con đường rộng lớn để đến với Chъa,
vа những giвy phъt ấy luфn thanh tẩy chъng ta. Việc ngợi
khen bao giờ cũng lа những gм thanh tẩy.</p>

Cбc Thбnh tỏ cho chъng ta thấy rằng chъng ta bao giờ
cũng cу thể dвng lời ngợi khen, vаo cả lъc vui lẫn lъc
buồn, vм Thiкn Chъa lа Người Bạn trung thаnh. Nền tảng
của việc ngợi khen nаy đу lа Thiкn Chъa lа người bạn
trung thаnh, vа tмnh yкu thương của Ngаi khфng bao giờ
ngừng. Ngаi luфn ở bкn chъng ta. Ngаi luфn đợi chờ chъng
ta. Từng cу cвu nуi rằng: "Ngаi lа người lнnh canh cận
kề với bạn vа giъp bạn tiếp tục tin tưởng". Trong những
lъc khу khăn vа tăm tối, chъng ta hгy can đảm thвn thưa
rằng: "Фi Chъa, xin chъc tụng Chъa". Ngợi khen Chъa.
Chъng ta sẽ cảm thấy rất hữu нch khi lаm như vậy. Xin
cбm ơn anh chị em.</p>
