thiêu rụi những cánh hoa phượng héo tàn vương đầy ngõ lối. Không khí Thủ Đức
cũng nồng nặc ngai ngái như lòng người ngợp mong NĐH. Mặc cho nắng vàng soi mói,
từng đoàn người từ muôn nẻo đường xóm giáo lũ lượt kéo nhau về trong bầu khí
tươi vui cởi mở. Có anh từ Nha Trang, Đà Lạt, Bình Tuy, Long Khánh, Cần Thơ, An
Giang, Tây Ninh, Châu Đốc… hối hả tới điểm hẹn với lòng đầy hân hoan trào tràn
như thác lũ. Họ trở về nơi gieo bao kỷ niệm ân tình, nơi nối kết muôn cõi lòng
trìu mến mà vì cảnh ngộ cuộc đời đã làm họ xa cách. Họ trở về với người Anh Cả
yêu dấu, gặp lại những khuôn mặt dạn dĩ các bạn đồng tu, dạn dày đồng cảnh ngộ
cuộc đời mà tưởng chừng không bao giờ được gặp lại. Tình người gieo vui thơm
nồng như hương lúa mới và lòng người phấn khởi như bài ca thanh bình vang vọng
nơi nơi.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

tôi được gặp lại số đông anh em thân yêu của chúng tôi đã xa lìa nhà dòng từ khá
lâu rồi. Dù anh Trưởng Ban Tổ Chức vừa cám ơn anh em, nhưng tôi cũng phải cám ơn
hết mọi Anh Em Cựu Đồng Công đã vì yêu mến tinh thần của Thiên Chúa, yêu mến các
linh hồn anh em đã hấp thụ, và anh em đã hy sinh ngưng lại bao công chuyện, bất
chấp đường sá xa xôi, chẳng quản phí tốn để về tham dự Đại Hội. Xin Chúa, Đức Mẹ
chúc lành cho nghĩa cử bác ái và xây dựng này của anh em.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

từ ngày thành lập dòng đến nay là năm thứ 22. Anh chẳng muốn, anh em cũng chẳng
muốn thiếu thốn, nhưng Anh vốn phải giữ cái nghèo cái khó, vì Đồng Công mặc cái
nghèo của Mẹ Đồng Công. Chính vì muốn giữ tinh thần nghèo và vì những lý do khác
mà Anh chưa thể triệu tập anh em sớm hơn được, trong khi nhiều anh em rất sốt
sáng, hăng say, đã cố gắng thành lập Thân Hữu Đồng Công nối kết mọi anh em lại
để đùm bọc nhau, phát huy việc truyền giáo mà chưa đạt được. Bây giờ mới là lúc
Chúa muốn, mới là lúc thuận hợp để chúng ta tập họp nhau đây. Anh thành thực xin
anh em thông cảm vì không sớm thực hiện được theo ý nhiều anh em.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

nhiều khi chưa làm tốt được nhiệm vụ đồng công của mình, chưa sống thánh thiện
vì thế đã làm phật ý các em cách nào, thì xin các em cũng xóa bỏ cho hết, để từ
giây phút này chúng ta trở thành một khối trong tinh thần Đồng Công, phát huy
việc truyền giáo. Một lần nữa xin các em tha thứ hết. Chắc các em bằng lòng

thần Đồng Công mà các em đã thụ huấn, các em đang gieo vãi những tinh thần ấy
vào mọi lãnh vực các em đang sống rải rắc nơi bốn phương trời. Anh phải thú nhận
rằng vấn đề này, Anh cũng như anh em Linh Mục và Tu Sĩ ĐC không thể làm được
bằng các em ở ngoài. Chúa định cho các em ở ngoài để đem tinh thần của Ngài đi
sâu vào mọi giới trong xã hội để chống lại bè lũ Satan đang hăng say, tinh vi
gieo vãi tinh thần của chúng làm nhiều người mất đức tin. Bởi thế, đã đến giờ
Chúa muốn mọi người chúng ta chẳng kỳ Linh Mục, các em đã Khấn, Tập, Đệ Tử kết
nạp thành một khối duy nhất có tổ chức, <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">
lấy tinh thần bác ái, phục vụ tha</i> <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">
nhân để <span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>chống lại lý thuyết vô thần, duy
vật đang lan tràn khắp nơi. Đó</i> <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">là ý

hội dòng và hướng dẫn chúng em trên đường phục vụ tha nhân, làm vinh quang nước
Chúa. Vì những ý niệm tốt đẹp ấy đã trải dài trong dĩ vãng chúng em đã được đón
nhận, được hấp thụ một chân lý dạt dào phúc đức nơi nhà dòng.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

góp ý của từng nhóm, từng buổi họp mặt già có, trẻ có cùng dốc tâm đi tìm đường
lối sinh hoạt chung. Ngày Họp Mặt với đông đảo anh em tham gia hôm nay hẳn nói
lên niềm mong muốn đó. Hôm nay còn được hiểu như một biểu dương tình liên kết
giữa anh em đồng chí hướng muốn vươn tới <span style="color: black">khung trời
cao đẹp của tình người Đồng Công.</span> Thiết tưởng Đại Hội này sẽ mãi mãi ghi
khắc trong tâm khảm mỗi chúng ta cái hương vị ngọt ngào và đầm ấm của
<span style="color: black">tình yêu huynh đệ. </span>Đại Hội
<span style="color: black">còn cảm kích nơi chúng em</span> bởi những năm tháng
xa cách do hoàn cảnh đẩy đưa trôi dạt… ở tuổi cao này tưởng chừng không còn có
ngày được gặp lại Anh Cả yêu kính và anh em thân thương đông đảo như vầy. Nay
con đàn cháu đống được trở về sum họp bên nhau tay bắt mặt mừng như

luận theo bản dự thảo Điều Lệ do một nhóm anh em thiện chí đi trước soạn, nhưng
tới giờ phút này, vì một lý do ngoài ý muốn, bản đó không được đưa ra trong
phiên hội thảo ngày mai – Lý do tại sao, sau này quý anh em sẽ rõ. Chúng ta chỉ
cần có một bản Điều Lệ mà hôm nay<span style="color: black"> muốn giới thiệu</span>
để anh em thảo luận là đủ rồi. Vậy, em xin trao bản dự thảo Điều Lệ này để quý

phúc trình để biểu quyết… Riêng có nhóm anh em Chí Hòa, có thể gọi là nhóm chủ
chốt, vì gồm các vị luật sư, linh mục và một số anh có quyền chức trong đạo
ngoài đời, họ soạn thảo một bản Điều Lệ mới, nhưng bị trục trặc ngay từ đầu!
Được yêu cầu, hai viên thư ký và thuyết trình viên của nhóm Chí Hòa bước lên đọc
lược qua bản Điều Lệ của họ mới soạn thảo với 11 khoản thay vì 8 khoản của bản
Điều Lệ đã giới thiệu hôm trước. Vừa đọc lên khoản 1 về danh xưng Thân Hữu Cựu
Đồng Công, thì một thành viên hăng tiết vịt chặn ngang phát biểu: “Xin Chủ Tọa
Đoàn bãi bỏ việc phúc trình và biểu quyết bản Điều Lệ của nhóm Chí Hòa, bởi Chủ
Tọa Đoàn không thể gạt bỏ thiện chí và công lao của các nhóm khác, chúng tôi đã
thức trắng đêm để <span style="color: black">nghiên cứu và chỉnh sửa bản Điều Lệ</span>
nhà dòng giới thiệu mà bắt chúng tôi phải biểu quyết một bản Điều Lệ của các anh

7 người. Nếu ta muốn cho anh em xuất nhiều tức là ta muốn cho Dòng Đồng Công lụi
đi hay sao?! Như vậy quan niệm mà chúng ta dùng từ cụm từ

Đồng Công</i> thôi, mà phải thu hút cả những người ngoài cộng tác với chúng ta
trong việc mở mang nước Chúa nữa. Muốn thế, ta nên cho họ hiểu
<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">“gia đình”</i> đó là của họ, của chung
chứ không phải chỉ có <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Cựu Tu Sĩ ĐC</i>.
Muốn vậy, chúng ta cũng nên quan niệm <span style="color: black">lại danh xưng</span>
<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Cựu Đồng Công</i> để xem có thích hợp

Úy là ta đã lầm lẫn. Ta phải xin Ban Thường Vụ và cả chúng ta đến mời Anh Cả đỡ
đầu làm Tuyên Úy cho Thân Hữu chúng ta mới phải. Nếu không, tôi sợ về phương
diện loài người thì chúng ta hơi vụng về đó. Chúng ta đương nhiên phải mời rồi
nên tôi xin đề nghị Chủ Tọa Đoàn là, tham khảo ý kiến anh em có đồng thanh mời
Anh Cả làm Tổng Tuyên úy cho chúng ta không? (mọi người vỗ tay chấp thuận). Hội
trường nhốn nháo và Ban Chấp Hành lâm thời đã tới mời Anh Cả. Anh Cả bước lên

trong Ban Tổ Chức, Quý Anh Giám Đốc, quý anh em trong dòng đã quan tâm và còn
coi chúng em như những người anh em trong dòng vậy. Sau cùng, để bảo toàn tinh
thần, để hướng dẫn chúng em trên bước đường truyền giáo và phục vụ tha nhân,

sinh <span style="color: black">đến đây làm cho Ngày Đại Hội kết quả mỹ mãn.</span>
Các em thiệt hăng say, nhiệt thành hết sức. Như anh Thuận vẫn hăng hái như ngày
còn ở dòng, anh Thân bỏ cả con chiên về đây làm người đi thu phiếu, thật là
gương sáng. Rồi anh Khoa ‘Vinh’ rất hăng say với việc lập Thân Hữu từ nhiều năm
trước nhưng Chúa chưa muốn, nay Thân Hữu thành hình, anh về đây như người bạn
thân vậy… Chứng tỏ lòng các em đối với Chúa, với dòng còn tình nghĩa thắm thiết.

Đồng Công nơi các em sẽ được tỏa rộng ăn sâu vào mọi giới. Hy vọng các em sẽ làm
ích cho Giáo Hội hơn. Và, riêng Việt Nam mình, Anh mong sẽ có được nhiều vị
thánh, mà các em trong bậc gia đình cũng làm được. Thánh đây ở tại làm trọn
nhiệm vụ hàng ngày và bác ái với tha nhân. Đó là thánh!<o:p></o:p></span></p>

nơi khác cần anh Thuận, anh Thân cũng giúp được. Các miền có gặp nhau thì cứ tới
<span style="color: black">các anh Linh Mục</span> tại địa phương, các em
<span style="color: black">phải tự</span> lo về ăn uống. Đối với Anh, Đại Hội
được vậy là kết quả rồi. Ai có cần thì ở lại đến mai cũng được, ai mắc trở thì

Đồng Công, Đồng Công là đau khổ, nghèo nàn từ ngày thành lập dòng đến nay là năm
thứ 22. Anh chẳng muốn, anh em cũng chẳng muốn thiếu thốn, nhưng Anh vốn phải
giữ cái nghèo cái khó, vì Đồng Công mặc cái nghèo của Mẹ Đồng Công. Chính vì
muốn giữ tinh thần nghèo và vì những lý do khác mà Anh chưa thể triệu tập anh em
sớm hơn được, trong khi nhiều anh em rất sốt sáng, hăng say, đã cố gắng thành
lập Thân Hữu Đồng Công nối kết mọi anh em lại để đùm bọc nhau, phát huy việc
truyền giáo mà chưa đạt được. Bây giờ mới là lúc Chúa muốn, mới là lúc thuận hợp
để chúng ta tập họp nhau đây. Anh thành thực xin anh em thông cảm vì không sớm

nhiều khi chưa làm tốt được nhiệm vụ đồng công của mình, chưa sống thánh thiện
vì thế đã làm phật ý các em cách nào, thì xin các em cũng xóa bỏ cho hết, để từ
giây phút này chúng ta trở thành một khối trong tinh thần Đồng Công, phát huy
việc truyền giáo. Một lần nữa xin các em tha thứ hết. Chắc các em bằng lòng

“Bây giờ Anh xin nói tới công việc của chúng ta đây. Trong số các em, rất nhiều
người có thiện chí, hăng say, đã và đang tỏ hiện tinh thần bác ái Phúc Âm, tinh
thần Đồng Công mà các em đã thụ huấn, các em đang gieo vãi những tinh thần ấy
vào mọi lãnh vực các em đang sống rải rắc nơi bốn phương trời. Anh phải thú nhận
rằng vấn đề này, Anh cũng như anh em Linh Mục và Tu Sĩ ĐC không thể làm được
bằng các em ở ngoài. Chúa định cho các em ở ngoài để đem tinh thần của Ngài đi
sâu vào mọi giới trong xã hội để chống lại bè lũ Satan đang hăng say, tinh vi
gieo vãi tinh thần của chúng làm nhiều người mất đức tin. Bởi thế, đã đến giờ
Chúa muốn mọi người chúng ta chẳng kỳ Linh Mục, các em đã Khấn, Tập, Đệ Tử kết
nạp thành một khối duy nhất có tổ chức, <i>lấy tinh thần bác ái, phục vụ tha</i>
<i>nhân để chống lại lý thuyết vô thần, duy vật đang lan tràn khắp nơi. Đó</i>
<i>là ý định của Anh</i>. Các em có đồng ý thành lập HỘI THÂN HỮU ĐỒNG CÔNG bao
gồm hết cả Linh Mục, các em đã Khấn, đã Tập, Đệ Tử không? Xin các em cho ý kiến.

hăng hái như ngày còn ở dòng, anh Thân bỏ cả con chiên về đây làm người đi thu
phiếu, thật là gương sáng. Rồi anh Khoa ‘Vinh’ rất hăng say với việc lập Thân
Hữu từ nhiều năm trước nhưng Chúa chưa muốn, nay Thân Hữu thành hình, anh về đây
như người bạn thân vậy… Chứng tỏ lòng các em đối với Chúa, với dòng còn tình
nghĩa thắm thiết. <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">

tinh thần này còn phát huy hơn nữa nhờ sự liên kết giữa nhà dòng với các</span></i><span style="color: black">

</span></i><span style="color: black">Các em</span> là những người sống sát với
dân chúng, Anh mong rằng các em phát triển tinh thần phục vụ, bác ái – tinh thần
Đồng Công nơi các em sẽ được tỏa rộng ăn sâu vào mọi giới. Hy vọng các em sẽ làm
ích cho Giáo Hội hơn. Và, riêng Việt Nam mình, Anh mong sẽ có được nhiều vị
thánh, mà các em trong bậc gia đình cũng làm được. Thánh đây ở tại làm trọn
nhiệm vụ hàng ngày và bác ái với tha nhân. Đó là thánh!<o:p></o:p></span></p>

cứ liên lạc với anh Giáo đây, vùng Đà Lạt có anh Đăng, Phan Rí có anh Lượng, các
nơi khác cần anh Thuận, anh Thân cũng giúp được. Các miền có gặp nhau thì cứ tới
<span style="color: black">các anh Linh Mục</span> tại địa phương, các em
<span style="color: black">phải tự</span> lo về ăn uống. Đối với Anh, Đại Hội
được vậy là kết quả rồi. Ai có cần thì ở lại đến mai cũng được, ai mắc trở thì
