sở sản xuất đá bẩn thường không đảm bảo an toàn vệ sinh thực phẩm. Toàn
bộ qui trình từ lấy, lọc nước, làm lạnh, bảo quản rồi vận chuyển đến nơi
tiêu thụ đều rất mất vệ sinh. Trần nhà cơ sở lợp bằng tôn rỉ sét, đầy
mạng nhện, chung quanh chỉ che chắn sơ sài. Bụi bám đầy vào các khay làm
đá. Đa số những khay làm đá lại đều rỉ sét, chung quanh lại đầy rác nên
không ít cây đá ở đây bên trong chứa đầy bụi cát.</font></span></p>

chuyển tới khắp các hang cùng, ngõ hẹp trong thành phố. Tới nơi, những
cây đá to này cứ thế lại được vứt thẳng xuống đất, để chủ hàng tự xử lý.</font></span></p>

quán hàng bán nước giải khát đường phố từ thành thị đến nông thôn lại sử
dụng loại đá này cung cấp cho người tiêu dùng. Tại nhiều cửa hàng, đá
lạnh được để trong những thùng xốp nhỏ cáu bẩn. Người bán dùng tay trần
bốc đá; người mua vô tư uống mà không quan tâm đến vệ sinh, miễn làm sao
cho thỏa cơn khát. Thậm chí, vào những lúc giữa trưa, khi đá hết mà
khách vẫn đông, người bán hàng còn tận dụng đá thừa của khách để cho vào
thùng rồi lại bốc ra bán tiếp.</font></span></p>

quán không sử dụng đá viên tinh khiết mà dùng đá cây đập vụn cho vào
thùng xốp bảo quản để bán cà phê, nước giải khát trong khi theo quy định
đá cây chỉ được dùng để ướp thực phẩm.</font></span></p>

bẩn tới sức khỏe là không nhỏ, bởi nó có thể chứa các loại vi khuẩn, vi
sinh vật gây bệnh đường ruột, ngộ độc thực phẩm, tiêu chảy cấp… Vì vậy,
khi sử dụng người dân nên mua đá viên đóng trong túi nilon, có ghi tên
cơ sở sản xuất đá sạch, có ngày sản xuất, hạn dùng và công bố chỉ tiêu
chất lượng để đảm bảo chất lượng an toàn vệ sinh thực phẩm.</font></span></p>
