trong nhà, thì bạn đã nhầm to. Số vi khuẩn trên mặt thớt cũng gấp 200
lần mức đó, còn trên giẻ lau bát thì kinh khủng hơn nhiều.</b></font></p>

<font face="Arial">Tiến sĩ Chuck Gerba, giáo sư về vi sinh học tại Đại
học Arizona (Mỹ), đã nghiên cứu mức độ truyền bệnh qua môi trường, liên
quan đến các đồ gia dụng và đo số vi khuẩn có mặt ở đó. Ông đặc biệt tìm
kiếm các vi khuẩn có nguồn gốc từ phân người như E.coli và
staphylococcus aureus. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Nghiên cứu của ông tìm thấy trung bình bệ xí có 50 vi
khuẩn trên mỗi inch vuông (một inch bằng 2,54cm). </font></p>

<font face="Arial">"Bệ xí hóa ra là một trong những nơi sạch nhất nếu
xét về vi sinh", ông nói. "Theo tiêu chuẩn vàng của chúng ta - không có
nhiều đồ gia dụng sạch hơn bệ xí nếu tính trên số vi khuẩn". </font></p>

<font face="Arial">Dường như, chúng ta cần lo lắng hơn đến nhiều đồ vật
khác. Thông thường, trên mặt thớt có số vi khuẩn nhiều gấp 200 lần trên
bệ xí. Còn ở nhà bếp, tình hình đáng lo ngại hơn, khi có rất nhiều vi
khuẩn có nguồn gốc từ phân. </font></p>

<font face="Arial">"Đây đáng lý phải là nơi an toàn hơn. Có thể, bạn nên
chăm sóc cái thớt nhiều hơn một chút, giống như khi bạn làm với bệ xí
vậy", ông nói.</font></p>

<font face="Arial">Thứ bẩn nhất trong nhà bếp là giẻ lau bếp hay giẻ rửa
bát. Có khoảng 10 triệu vi khuẩn trên mỗi inch vuông nếu miếng giẻ bằng
mút, và khoảng một triệu con nếu là miếng giẻ vải. Nói cách khác, miếng
mút rửa bát bẩn gấp 200.000 lần bệ xí, và miếng giẻ lau bát bẩn gấp
20.000 lần. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 0; margin-right: 0; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0">
<font face="Arial">Mức độ bẩn này sai khác đôi chút qua các quốc gia.
Chẳng hạn, giữ vệ sinh hàng đầu phải nói đến Australia và đặc biệt là
Canada, trong khi các quốc gia đứng gần cuối bảng là Ấn Độ và Malaysia.</font></p>
