Viêm đường tiết niệu là bệnh rất thường xảy ra cho mọi người, từ
người lớn tới trẻ em, đặc biệt là nữ giới. Nữ giới mắc bệnh
nhiều vì miệng niệu đạo quá gần với âm hộ và hậu môn là hai bộ
phận dơ bẩn nhất của cơ thể. Viêm thường do vi trùng gây ra,
thông thường nhất là loại Escheria Coli. Bệnh thường tự hết sau
vài ngày, đôi khi cần điều trị với thuốc kháng sinh tùy theo
loại vi trùng. Nếu không điều trị, vi trùng có thể lan lên thận
và gây nhiễm độc cho cơ quan này. Ngoài ra bệnh nhân cũng cần
uống nhiều nước để loại vi trùng ra khỏi cơ quan tiết niệu.</span></p>
