Tin mừng hôm nay là sự nối kết của hai dụ ngôn “hai người con” (CN 26 A)
và “các tá điền sát nhân” (CN 27 A) thành một đề tài giáo huấn về tính
phổ quát của ơn cứu độ, con người cần phải thống hối, ăn năn, hoán cải,
phục thiện, phải cố gắng không những vào số những người được gọi, mà còn
phải vào số những người được chọn nữa, bởi vì gọi thì nhiều mà chọn thì
ít.</p>

Câu chuyện Tin mừng gồm hai phần rõ rệt. Nhà vua mời thực khách dự tiệc
cưới của hoàng tử (câu 1-10) và người khách không mặc y phục lễ cưới
(câu 11-14).</p>

– Thái độ của khách mời: Bình thường khi được các bậc vị vọng mời dự
tiệc, khách được mời sẽ rất hãnh diện. Ở đây nhà vua mời dự tiệc cưới
của hoàng tử. Vậy mà các khách được mời đều từ chối. Thánh Mátthêu ghi
lại hai lý do: “người thì đi thăm trại, người thì đi buôn bán”. Thánh
Luca thì ghi tới ba lý do: “Người thứ nhất nói: tôi mới mua một thửa
đất, cần phải đi thăm; người khác nói: tôi mới tậu 5 cặp bò, tôi đi thử
đây; người khác nói: tôi mới cưới vợ, nên không thể đến được” (Lc
14,18-19). Họ khước từ vì lo làm ăn và hưởng thụ cá nhân. Họ bận rộn,
mải mê kiếm sống, không còn giờ cho tình người. Một số khách được mời
nóng nảy quá khích, đã không dự tiệc vua mời còn bắt đầy tớ của vua,
đánh đập, sỉ nhục và giết chết.</p>

– Hành động của ông vua: Ông mời khách đến mấy lần, mời đi mời lại, năn
nỉ họ tham dự. Ông còn tỏ ra hào phóng là thu nạp mọi người, bất luận
tốt xấu, giàu nghèo.Thế nhưng, khi thấy một thực khách không mặc y phục
lễ cưới ông đòi ra lệnh trói chân tay, bỏ vào nơi tối tăm bên ngoài mà
khóc lóc nghiến răng. Người đọc cảm thấy thật khó hiểu: những người đang
ở ngoài đường đột nhiên được mời vào dự tiệc cưới thì làm sao có sẵn áo
lễ mà mặc.</p>

Nên nhớ, đây là một dụ ngôn nằm trong chuỗi ba dụ ngôn theo cùng một chủ
đề mà Chúa Giêsu kể cho các thượng tế và kỳ mục Do thái khi họ đến chất
vấn Người về thẩm quyền của Người (x. Mt 21,23). Hai Chúa Nhật trước qua
hai dụ ngôn “hai người con” (21,28-32) và “các tá điền sát nhân”
(21,33-43). Dụ ngôn “tiệc cưới” (22,1-14) là câu trả lời cho những thái
độ của các thượng tế và pharisiêu.Thiên Chúa ban hạnh phúc Nước Trời
trước tiên cho dân Do Thái, nhưng họ đã từ chối vì chuộng những giá trị
trần gian hơn; Thiên Chúa lại ban hạnh phúc ấy cho muôn dân. Tuy nhiên,
cũng như người dự tiệc cưới phải mặc áo cưới, tượng trưng cho cách sống.
Những người được mời gia nhập Nước Trời cũng phải có một nếp sống mới
phù hợp với Tin Mừng.</p>

tiệc là niềm vinh dự và là hạnh phúc</strong></p>

Người Do Thái được Thiên Chúa tuyển chọn làm dân riêng của Ngài để chuẩn
bị ơn cứu độ cho toàn thể nhân loại. Thế nhưng, họ đã từ chối đặc ân. Họ
thờ ơ, không đếm xỉa gì đến lời mời gọi dự tiệc cưới :người thì đi thăm
trại, kẻ thì đi buôn, người khác thì bắt đầy tớ nhục mạ và giết đi…</p>

Con người có thái độ thờ ơ, lãnh đạm và coi thường như thế bởi vì họ
không yêu mến Thiên Chúa, không cần Thiên Chúa. Nếu yêu thương, tôn
trọng người chủ tiệc thì chắc chắn cho dù có vướng bận đến đâu họ cũng
sẵn sàng sắp xếp công việc, thời gian để đi dự tiệc. Được mời là một
vinh dự, nhưng đáp lời mời là biểu lộ tình cảm của bản thân dành cho gia
chủ. Cũng thế, Thiên Chúa mời gọi con người vào hưởng hạnh phúc Nước
Trời là do tình yêu của Ngài dành cho nhân loại, còn đáp lời mời này để
hân hoan tiến vào Nước Chúa là lời đáp trả tình yêu của con người với
Thiên Chúa.</p>

Thiên Chúa mời con người đến tham dự tiệc cưới. Tiệc cưới là tiệc vui
tươi, chúc mừng tình yêu của cô dâu chú rễ. Chúa Giêsu là chàng rễ, Giáo
hội là cô dâu. Thiên Chúa đã mời gọi các Kitô hữu đền bàn tiệc để chia
sẽ niềm vui và hạnh phúc vĩnh cửu với Ngài (GLCG # 1384).</p>

Được mời và đón nhận lời mời là một biểu lộ của tình yêu từ hai phía,
Thiên Chúa và con người dành cho nhau. Thế nhưng, trong cuộc sống Kitô
hữu ngày hôm nay, thái độ từ chối Thiên Chúa, thờ ơ với lời mời gọi của
Ngài vẫn còn tiếp diễn nơi nhiều người.</p>

<span style="font-size: 14pt">Dụ ngôn tiệc cưới luôn mang tính thời sự.
Những người từ chối dự tiệc cưới đã viện dẫn nhiều lý do chỉ vì họ không
muốn đến. Những người tham dự Thánh Lễ ngày Chúa Nhật cũng có rất nhiều
lý do để biện minh. Người ta có trăm ngàn lý do để từ chối lời mời tha
thiết của Chúa đến dự bàn tiệc Thánh Thể, bàn tiệc Lời Chúa. Nào là
chuyện gia đình, bạn bè, chuyện làm ăn, chuyện học hành, chuyện giải
trí, chuyện tương lai… nào là quá bận rộn không có thời gian. Có khi chỉ
là một cuốn phim đang xem, một trận đá bóng trên tivi, một bữa nhậu…
nhiều người đã bỏ lễ Chúa Nhật. <br>
Người ta nại vào rất nhiều lý do từ công ăn việc làm đến những lý do bận
rộn với những sinh họat xã hội để từ chối các sinh hoạt đạo đức, từ chối
tham dự thánh lễ. Người ta nại đến nhiều lý do, nhiều hoàn cảnh khó khăn
để từ chối gặp gỡ, đón nhận Chúa qua anh chị em chung quanh, để khước từ
sống giới răn yêu thương của Chúa.</span></p>

Là Kitô hữu, chúng ta cần xét mình về thái độ của bản thân trước những
lời mời gọi dấn thân vì Nước Trời, vì tha nhân của Chúa. Đừng lấy lý do
tôi quá bận rộn với công việc làm, với gia đình mà không dành giờ cho
Thiên Chúa, không dành giờ cho Nước Trời, không dành giờ lo đến linh hồn
mình. Bận rộn chỉ là bình phong che đậy những lười biếng, những tiêu
cực. Đừng hỏi tôi có bận hay không, nhưng hãy hỏi tôi có muốn hay không?
Vì lòng muốn sẽ thắng vượt mọi trở ngại, mọi bận bịu.</p>

Thánh lễ chính là tiệc cưới Nước Trời mà Thiên Chúa thết đãi cho chúng
ta hưởng nếm trước hạnh phúc, vinh quang và sự sống thần linh. Vậy chúng
ta hãy dẹp bỏ đi mọi lo toan của công việc, mọi vướng bận của cuộc sống
đời thường để hân hoan tiến đến tham dự bàn tiệc Thánh Thể. Sau khi đã
vui hưởng Tiệc Thánh, mỗi người sẽ thêm nghị lực, thêm niềm tin, thêm
tình yêu.</p>

cưới phải mặc áo cưới.</strong></p>

Muốn tham dự tiệc cưới, vào bàn tiệc chưa đủ mà còn phải mặc y phục cho
thích hợp. Y phục đó tượng trưng cung cách sống đạo, trang phục bằng
những đức tính và tinh thần của Ðức Kitô. Là người Kitô hữu, cần sống
cho xứng đáng với danh hiệu Kitô hữu mới được vào Nước Trời. Ân sủng
không chỉ là</p>

Chiếc áo cưới vào dự tiệc Nước Trời chính là ơn Thánh tẩy của Bí tích
Rửa Tội. Ngày chịu phép rửa tội, tất cả mọi Kitô hữu được nhắn nhủ: “Con
đã trở nên tạo vật mới và đã mặc lấy Ðức Ktiô. Chiếc áo trắng này là dấu
chỉ tước vị của con. Nhờ lời chỉ bảo và gương lành của thân nhân giúp
đỡ, con hãy mang nó tinh tuyền mãi cho đến cõi trường sinh.”</p>

<span style="font-size: 14pt">Mỗi một Kitô hữu đều có một bộ y phục lễ
cưới, đó là chiếc áo trắng ngày chịu phép Rửa tội. Chiếc áo trắng ấy là
tâm hồn thanh khiết của những người con Chúa đã được tẩy trắng trong máu
Con Chiên. Chiếc áo trắng ấy được dệt bằng sợi tơ Lời Chúa mà người tín
hữu phải nâng niu, gìn giữ suốt cuộc đời. Chiếc áo trắng ấy phải tinh
tuyền cho đến ngày bước vào dự tiệc cưới trong Nước Trời. <br>
Có người đã vào phòng tiệc mà vẫn bị mời ra, vì không mang y phục lễ
cưới. Có người theo đạo mà vẫn không được vào Nước Trời vì họ đánh mất
chiếc áo trắng ngày Rửa tội. Theo ý kiến của một số giáo phụ, chiếc áo
cưới ám chỉ đức ái, tối thiểu là cuộc sống ăn ngay ở lành. Còn theo ý
kiến của các nhà chú giải Kinh Thánh hiện đại, thì chiếc áo cưới ám chỉ
sự hoán cải hay sự trở về, tức là tinh thần sám hối chân thật.</span></p>

Đành rằng “chiếc áo dòng không làm nên thầy tu”, nhưng qua cách ăn mặc
cũng chứng tỏ cho người khác thấy phần nào con người của mình. Khi đến
thăm gia đình của người bạn với quần áo lịch sự, chứng tỏ rằng chúng ta
kính trọng người bạn đó. Khi đến nhà thờ dâng thánh lễ ngày Chúa Nhật,
các Kitô hữu mặc y phục đẹp nhất của mình, chứng tỏ mình kính trọng

Quần áo bề ngoài xã hội như vậy, nhưng còn y phục của tinh thần và linh
hồn nữa. Mỗi lần đến tham dự bàn tiệc Thánh Thể, chúng ta cũng phải mặc
lấy y phục phẩm hạnh của bàn tiệc mà Chúa Giêsu đòi hỏi; y phục của lòng
tin, cậy, mến; y phục của lòng ăn năn sám hối và sự kính trọng đối với
Thiên Chúa.</p>

Rất nhiều khi chúng ta đã coi thường bàn tiệc Thánh Thể. Chúng ta đến
nhà Chúa với một tâm hồn không chuẩn bị gì, chẳng có tâm tình cầu
nguyện, và cũng không chịu lắng nghe lời Chúa. Lời Chúa hôm nay cảnh cáo
thái độ khinh thường đó rằng: “Trói chân tay nó lại, ném nó vào nơi khóc
lóc nghiến răng ! Vì những kẻ được mời gọi thì nhiều, còn những người
được chọn thì ít”.</p>

Y phục phải xứng với kỳ đức. Chiếc áo cưới của Kitô hữu không được dệt
bằng lụa là gấm vóc, không được mua từ hàng hiệu đắt tiền nhưng chính là
lòng khiêm hạ, lòng tin, lòng cậy, lòng mến Chúa, lòng mến đối với anh
chị em đồng loại.</p>

Xin cho con biết tự hạ, biết tán dương Chúa và chỉ nghĩ đến Chúa. <br>
Ước gì con biết hãm mình và sống trong Chúa. <br>
Ước gì con biết nhận từ Chúa tất cả những gì xảy đến cho con và biết
chọn theo chân Chúa luôn. <br>
Xin đừng để điều gì quyến rũ con, ngoài Chúa.<br>
Xin Chúa hãy nhìn con, để con yêu mến Chúa.<br>
Xin Chúa hãy gọi con, để con được thấy Chúa.<br>
