Chúa Giêsu và nhất định không từ bỏ niềm tin đó cho dù có phải chết,

<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Đức Thánh Cha Gioan Phaolô
đệ II trong bài giảng ngày lễ tôn phong 117 vị anh hùng tử đạo Việt Nam
lên hàng hiển thánh cũng phát biểu tương tự như thế. Ngài nói: " Từ năm
1533 tức là từ khi cuộc rao giảng Tin Mừng Kitô bắt đầu tại vùng Đông
Nam Á, Giáo Hội Việt Nam trong suốt 3 thế kỷ đã phải chịu những cuộc
bách hại liên tiếp nhau với một vai giai đoạn lắng dịu <b><i>giống như</i></b>
các cuộc bách hại mà Giáo Hội tại Tây Phương đã chịu trong 3 thế kỷ đầu
tiên. Đã có hàng ngàn tín hữu Kitô chịu tử đạo và rất nhiều người khác
đã chết trong rừng núi, những vùng ma thiêng nước độc, nơi mà họ bị lưu
đầy tới</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">"</span><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">.</span></p>

Việt nam chịu chết vào <b><i>thời gian nào </i></b>trên đất nước Việt
Nam thân yêu của chúng ta không? Cha trả lời cho chúng con ngay.</span></p>

Thời gian</span></span> không xa chúng ta lắm.</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">
Các Ngài đã chịu chết </span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt"> </span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">ngay
trên đất nước Việt nam này. Thời gian </span>
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">bắt đầu vào năm <b>1580</b>
và chỉ kết thúc hoàn toàn vào năm <b><i>1888</i></b> có nghĩa là chỉ <b>
<i>cách chúng ta hơn một thế kỷ</i></b> và<b><i> kéo dài gần 3 thế kỷ</i></b>.
3 thế kỷ ba thế hệ của cuộc sống làm người. </span></p>

<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">người chịu ảnh hưởng của
cuộc bách hại này không nhỏ: Lịch sử cho chúng ta thấy những người chịu
ảnh hưởng của cuộc bách hại rất lớn.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">* Có khoảng <b>400.000</b>
người bị lưu đầy, phát lưu và phân sáp.</span></p>

<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">* <b>130.000</b> người đã
chết vì đạo trong số này đã có 117 vị được Giáo Hội chính thức tôn phong
lên hàng hiển thánh vào ngày 19.6.1988 cách đây 12 năm.</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Thế còn các hình khổ các thánh Tử Đạo
Việt nam đã phải chịu là những hình khổ nào?</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<b><i><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Các ngài đã phải
chịu mọi thứ cực hình mà người ta có thể nghĩ ra được </span></i></b>
</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Thì dụ như </span>
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">bị gông cùm, bị xiềng
xích, bị nhốt trong cũi, bị đánh đòn, bị bỏ đói</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">,</span><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
bị voi giầy, bị trói ném xuống sông, bị đổ dầu vào rốn rồi cho bấc vào
mà đốt, bị đóng đinh vào ván rồi đem phơi nắng vv.</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Đó
là những hình phãt tương đối nhẹ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span style="font-size: 14.0pt">Bên cạnh đó còn có những hình khổ thật
quyết liệt như </span><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">bị
trảm quyết - tức là bị chặt đầu- bị xử giảo - tức là bị thắt cổ -, hay
bị thiêu sống.</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">hoặc </span><b><i>
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Vô cùng man rợ và hiểm độc</span></i></b><span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">
như bị xử lăng trì - phân thây ra từng mảnh hay là xứ bá đao.</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt">
Đây chúng con nghe câ chuyện về việc bị xứ báo đao của Cha Cố Du:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Ngày 30-11-1835 họ chọn
Thợ Đức làm pháp trường để xử Ngài.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Sáng sớm hôm đó, họ điệu
ngài đến nơi hành hình. Bên một lò than đang cháy đỏ rực có 5 tên lính
cầm 5 chiếc kìm sắt đã được nung đỏ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Nghe lệnh, cùng một lúc cả
5 tên kẹp kìm nung đỏ vào mình ngài kéo ra những miếng thịt khét lẹt.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Họ vu cho ngài móc mắt trẻ
con khi rửa tội. Làm điều ám muội khi cử hành lễ cưới và cho ăn thịt
người khi rước lễ.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Sau đó họ tiếp tục gây
thêm những thương tích nữa cho đến khi ngài bất tỉnh thì họ mới hành
quyết.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Họ cột chân tay ngài vào
cây cột. Hai bên lính cầm kìm chờ sẵn. Cha Du ngửa mặt lên trời cầu
nguyện dâng mạng sống mình cho Chúa. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Sau hồi trống báo hiệu,
hai tên lính cầm kìm kẹp vào ngực ngài kéo ra 2 miếng thịt nơi vú liệng
xuống đất - một tên lính khác cầm dao xẻo thịt phía sau hông - rồi đến
bắp đùi thì chúng lấy kìm kéo ra rồi láy dao xẻo đứt từng miếng… làm cha
rất đau đớn. Không được bao lâu thì ngài ngất đi, đầu rũ xuống và ngài
về chầu Chúa lúc 17g ngày 30-11-1835 </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Cha chết rồi bọn lính chặt
đầu ngài cho vào một chiếc thùng đầy vôi, cởi trói lật xác úp xuống rồi
phân thây ra từng khúc bỏ tất cả vào thùng vôi. Đầu ngài họ đem treo 3
ngày ở giữa chợ rồi xay nát, bỏ chung với thùng vôi đựng xác ngài đoạn
quăng cả xuống biển cho mất tích"</span></p>

học.</span></span></p>

<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Bàn về cái chết của Gandhi
một con người mà người dân Ấn độ lúc nào cũng kính trọng và coi ông như
một vị thánh nhà văn hào Tagore đã viết: "Có lẽ thánh Gandhi không thành
công, có lẽ thánh sẽ thất bại như Đức Thích Ca đã thất bại, như Đức
Giêsu đã thất bại vì chưa hủy diệt được lòng ác độc của loài người.
Nhưng loài người luôn phải nhớ tới thánh vì thánh đã đem đời mình ra để
làm <b><i>bài học</i></b> cho muôn thế hệ mai sau"</span></p>

Bài học thứ 1: <span class="than-1">
<span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif">Giá trị của niềm tin.</span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin-bottom: 6.0pt">
<span lang="X-NONE" style="font-size: 14.0pt">Đức tin là quà tặng nhưng
không của Thiên Chúa nhưng nhiều khi chúng ta không ý thức được giá trị
của nó. Phải ở trong những hoàn cảnh Đức tin bị đe dọa con người mới
thấy được Đức tin có một gía trị to lớn như thế nào.</span></p>

ra xử.</span></p>
