Khánh nhật Truyền giáo. Hội Thánh dành riêng để cầu nguyện cho việc truyền
giáo. Đồng thời nhắc nhở chúng ta về bổn phận cầu nguyện, đặc biệt cho việc
truyền giáo. Truyền giáo là bản chất của Hội Thánh, vì thế mỗi Kitô hữu có
trách nhiệm và bổn phận truyền giáo, nghĩa là đem tình yêu của Chúa đến cho
mọi người.</span></p>

vàn mọi sự, tôi truyền phải dâng lời khẩn xin, cầu nguyện, kỳ đảo, tạ ơn cho
hết mọi người, cho vua Chúa và hết các người quyền cao chức trọng, ngõ hầu
ta được qua một đời yên hàn, ổn định, trong đạo đức vẹn toàn và nghiêm
chỉnh. Ðó là điều tốt lành, đẹp lòng Thiên Chúa, Cứu Chúa của ta. Người muốn
cho mọi người được cứu thoát và được nhìn biết sự thật. Vì chỉ có một Thiên
Chúa và cũng chỉ có một Ðấng trung gian giữa Thiên Chúa và nhân loại: một
người, là Ðức Yêsu, Ðấng đã thí mình làm giá chuộc thay cho mọi người; chứng
đã tuyên ra vào chính thời chính buổi, mà tôi đã được đặt làm lệnh sứ, làm
tông đồ — và tôi nói thật, chứ không nói dối — làm tấn sĩ dân ngoại, trong
đức tin, trong sự thật.</span></p>

Chúa Giêsu sống lại, Người lại còn dùng nhiều cách để chứng tỏ cho các ông
thấy là Người vẫn sống sau khi đã chịu khổ hình: trong bốn mươi ngày, Người
đã hiện ra nói chuyện với các ông về Nước Thiên Chúa. Một hôm, đang khi dùng
bữa với các Tông Ðồ, Ðức Giêsu truyền cho các ông không được rời khỏi
Giêrusalem, nhưng phải ở lại mà chờ đợi điều Chúa Cha đã hứa, “điều mà anh
em đã nghe Thầy nói tới, đó là: ông Gioan thì làm phép rửa bằng nước, còn
