Đức Giêsu nói với người Do thái: “<em style="box-sizing: border-box">Hãy phá hủy
Đền thờ này đi. Nội trong ba ngày</em> <em style="box-sizing: border-box">Ta sẽ
xây dựng lại</em>”. Nếu hiểu chữ “Đền thờ” theo nghĩa vật chất thì làm sao xây
dựng lại được, vì Đền thờ này lớn lao phải dựng lại mất 46 năm mới hoàn thành?
Người Do Thái không thể hiểu câu nói của Đức Giêsu và cho đó là câu nói hồ đồ và
có tính cách phạm thượng. Nhưng ý Đức Giêsu muốn nói: Đền thờ ấy chính là thân
thể Ngài.</span></p>

thờ vật chất đây là những nhà thờ mà chúng ta xây dựng. Bất cứ một giáo xứ nào,
giáo họ nào cũng có một nhà thờ nhà nguyện để giáo dân qui tụ lại tôn vinh Thiên
Chúa, nghe lời Chúa và dâng Thánh lễ. Nhà thờ có thể to hay nhỏ, tráng lệ hay
bình thường, trang trí bằng mọi hình dạng, nhưng luôn phải có vẻ trang nghiêm
đạo đức. Ngày nay các nhà thờ đang mọc lên rất nhiều, đó là một điều tốt, nhưng
rồi người ta lại lơ là với nhà Chúa, không chịu đi dự thánh lễ, cầu nguyện, làm
các việc đạo đức khiến nhà thờ trở nên... hoang vắng như nhiều nhà thờ ở bên Tây
phương!</span></p>

thờ thiêng liêng ở đây được hiểu là thân xác chúng ta, con người chúng ta hay là
Hội thánh. Chúng ta không ngại tốn công, tốn của để sửa sang hay xây cất nhà
thờ. Dù phải hy sinh đến mấy, miễn là làm được nhà thờ là chúng ta không quản
ngại. Nhưng còn một đền thờ khác nữa, mà có khi chúng ta chưa lo sửa sang cho
đủ, đó là con người chúng ta, thân xác chúng ta. Thánh Phaolô nói: “<em style="box-sizing: border-box">Thân
xác anh em là đền thờ Thiên Chúa, nơi Thánh Thần ngự trị”.</em> Vì vậy, song
song với việc lo xây cất nhà thờ ở bên ngoài là xây cất nhà thờ nội tâm với một
nền móng vững chắc là đức tin và những sự hiểu biết cần thiết về đạo, và những
đồ trang trí là những đức tính của một Kitô hữu trưởng thành như khoan dung,
quảng đại,thông cảm và tha thứ.</span></p>

kinh hôm nay nhắc nhở ta: “<em style="box-sizing: border-box">Lòng nhiệt thành
đối với nhà Chúa hun đúc tâm hồn</em> <em style="box-sizing: border-box">tôi”
(Tv 68,10).</em> Lòng nhiệt thành đối với nhà Chúa phải nhắc nhở cho chúng ta
biết tỏ ra tôn kính nhà Chúa, biết giữ sạch sẽ cho nhà Chúa. Lòng nhiệt thành
cho nhà Chúa phải nhắc nhở ta dạy dỗ cho con cháu biết phân biệt đâu là nơi thờ
phượng. Dạy cho con cháu biết tôn trọng nhà thờ, nơi thờ phượng thì phải giữ
nghiêm trang, không la hét, trò chuyện, xả rác... Ta cũng nên xét theo phương
diện tích cực xem, ta có thể làm gì để tỏ ra tôn kính nhà Chúa như săn sóc, giữ
gìn và bảo vệ nhà Chúa.</span></p>

ra các tôn giáo bạn, ta thấy người Hồi giáo khi vào nhà thờ của họ, phải để giày
ngoài sân. Ta có thể tưởng tượng giả sử có một ngàn người để một ngàn đôi giầy,
tức là hai ngàn chiếc bên ngoài, ra khỏi đền thờ đi tìm chiếc giầy nào là của
mình trong hai ngàn chiếc giày thì sẽ lộn xộn và khó khăn như thế nào. Tuy
nhiên, để tỏ ra tôn kính nơi thờ phượng, người Hồi giáo vẫn giữ điều lệ này cho
tới ngày nay.</span></p>

tới việc bênh vực nhà Chúa theo gương Đức Giêsu, chúng ta cũng cần phân biệt hai
loại đền thờ, đó là đền thờ vật chất mà mọi người qui tụ về đó để tôn vinh Thiên
Chúa. Và còn một đền thờ nữa là con người chúng ta, thân xác chúng ta.</span></p>

ta đã có nhà thờ dùng để thờ phượng Chúa, để tổ chức những sinh hoạt phụng vụ
hay làm các việc đạo đức. Ai cũng yêu mến nhà thờ của mình. Ai cũng bênh vực,
không để cho người khác phạm đến nhà thờ. Có khi chúng ta chịu đổ máu để bênh
vực nhà thờ của chúng ta.</span></p>

chúng ta phải lưu ý: nhà thờ là nhà của muôn dân, nơi dành cho mọi người đến cầu
nguyện, không phân biệt tôn giáo, giai cấp, màu da, chủng tộc. Nhiều khi vô tình
hay hữu ý, ai trong chúng ta cũng có lần thành chướng ngại vật ngăn cản anh em
tìm đến gặp Chúa: chỉ cần một lời nói cứng cỏi và thiếu tế nhị, một thái độ lạnh
nhạt thiếu nhã nhặn hay một cử chỉ khinh thường tha nhân... là chúng ta đã có
thể xua đuổi anh chị em lương dân ra khỏi nhà thờ và sau này họ khó có cơ hội
khác để trở lại.</span></p>

còn là một sinh viên, Gandhi được du học tại Nam Phi, một thuộc địa của nước
Anh. Tại đây nổi tiếng về tệ nạn phân biệt chủng tộc. Trong thời gian này,
Gandhi có dịp đọc Kinh thánh của Kitô giáo và lập tức ông bị giáo thuyết của Đức
Giêsu cuốn hút, nhất là kinh Tám mối phúc thật trong Bài Giảng trên núi. Ông rất
tâm đắc trước lời Chúa dạy về một tình yêu phổ quát và bình đẳng giữa mọi người,
không phân biệt giàu nghèo, sang hèn, địa vị cao thấp, là Do Thái hay lương
dân... Gandhi nghĩ rằng: Có lẽ Kitô giáo là giải pháp tối ưu và hữu hiệu để giải
quyết tận gốc sự phân biệt giai cấp trong xã hội Ấn Độ quê hương của ông. Gandhi
nghĩ mình nên tìm hiểu và sẽ gia nhập vào Kitô giáo.</span></em></span></p>

nọ, Gandhi có ý định đi bộ đến một nhà thờ để mong được chứng kiến lễ nghi trong

thì bị người giữ cửa chặn lại và không cho ông bước vào nhà thờ. Bấy giờ ông cho
biết ý định tìm hiểu đạo của mình. Nhưng thật là bất ngờ khi người giữ cửa lại
nói như sau: “Đây là nhà thờ dành riêng cho người da trắng. Nếu mi muốn tìm hiểu
đạo, thì hãy tìm đến nhà thờ khác dành riêng cho dân da màu mà xin!”</span></em></span></p>

của Ngài! Nếu trong đạo Kitô mà cũng còn phân biệt chủng tộc như vậy, thì Kitô
giáo có hơn gì Ấn giáo có phân biệt giai cấp của tôi? Thôi, tôi cần chi phải gia
nhập đạo này. Tốt nhất là tôi cứ chấp nhận có bất toàn trong Ấn giáo và cố gắng
sống theo giáo lý truyền thống của cha ông là đủ!”</span></em></span></p>
