Thiên Chúa ngự trị, luôn mang tính chất linh thiêng, thánh thiện. Tin Mừng hôm
nay thuật lại việc Đức Giêsu vào Đền Thờ, Người thấy trong Đền Thờ có những kẻ
bán chiên, bò, bồ câu và những người đang ngồi đổi tiền. Không chịu được cảnh
Đền Thờ bị tục hóa, Người nổi nóng, lấy dây làm roi xua đuổi chiên bò ra khỏi,
đổ tung tiền bạc, lật nhào bàn ghế. Người hô những kẻ đang bán bồ câu: <em style="outline: none;box-sizing: border-box"><span style="border: 1.0pt none windowtext; padding: 0cm">“Đem
tất cả những thứ này ra khỏi đây, đừng biến nhà Cha tôi thành nơi buôn bán” </span></em>(Ga
2, 16).</span></p>

tụ dân Chúa, là nhà cầu nguyện. Cung Lòng yêu thương của Chúa là nhà cầu nguyện.
Ngay cả nơi nơi tôi đang đứng cũng có thể là nhà cầu nguyện. Dù ở bất cứ nơi đâu
(phòng ở, trên xe, nơi làm việc…) mà giúp tôi sống thân tình với Chúa thì nơi đó
cũng là nhà cầu nguyện. Nơi nào làm cho tôi bị cắt đứt mối tương quan với Chúa
mà chạy theo những thứ phù vân, ích kỷ, gian tham, bất chính… là đã bị biến
thành “nơi buôn bán”. Lòng tôi là nhà cầu nguyện. Thánh Phaolô nói: “<em style="outline: none;box-sizing: border-box"><span style="border: 1.0pt none windowtext; padding: 0cm">Nào
anh em chẳng biết rằng anh em là Đền Thờ của Thiên Chúa, và Thánh Thần Thiên
Chúa ngự trong anh em sao?” </span></em>(1Cr 3, 16).</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; color: black">Ta phải ý thức
giữ gìn đền thờ ấy luôn trong sạch, cao quý từ lời nói, tư tưởng đến tình cảm,
hành động. Nếu ta biến nơi ấy thành nơi buôn bán<em style="outline: none;box-sizing: border-box"><span style="border: 1.0pt none windowtext; padding: 0cm">, </span></em>ma
quỷ thừa cơ tấn công, rồi ta sẽ trở thành nô lệ cho chúng. Tôi phải lo thanh
tẩy, trả lại vị thế ưu việt cho Thiên Chúa trong Đền Thờ. Đọc và suy gẫm Lời
Chúa đêm ngày sẽ được soi sáng trí lòng chúng ta, để nhận ra những bụt thần và
tội lỗi trong tâm hồn, để nhờ Lời Chúa thanh tẩy chúng. Có lời Thánh vịnh kia
nhắc nhở ta luôn thanh tẩy đền thờ tâm hồn: <em style="outline: none;box-sizing: border-box"><span style="border: 1.0pt none windowtext; padding: 0cm">“Cứ
mỗi sớm mai con lại diệt trừ-hết những phường ác nhân trong xứ sở”. </span></em>Ngày
ngày nhờ Chúa ta được sửa chữa, thanh tẩy hết “phường ác nhân” trong “xứ sở” tâm
hồn ta.</span></p>

Giêsu vào Đền Thờ và đuổi những kẻ đang buôn bán<em style="outline: none;box-sizing: border-box"><span style="border: 1.0pt none windowtext; padding: 0cm">, </span></em>trả
lại sự ưu việt cho Đền Thờ, thì lại làm cho nhóm Biệt phái và Kinh sư bực tức
đến độ muốn khử trừ Ngài.<em style="outline: none;box-sizing: border-box"><span style="border: 1.0pt none windowtext; padding: 0cm"> </span></em>Ngày
nay để thanh tẩy đền thờ tâm hồn tôi, Ngài có vào lòng tôi được không khi tôi
không cho phép Ngài? Nếu tôi không tha thiết với Ngài, thì thật là khó. Ngài có
thể “xua đuổi quân buôn bán” ra khỏi lòng tôi được không, khi tôi cứ muốn giữ
lại mọi thứ trong “vũng lầy êm ái” đó? Lúc ấy tôi cũng khó chịu trong sự giằng
co, có khi lại muốn “khử trừ” Ngài như những người Biệt phái và Kinh sư xưa.</span></p>

Lạy Chúa, với cái chết trên Thập giá, Chúa đã trở thành ngôi Đền Thờ sống động
của Thiên Chúa. Nơi đây con người được liên kết với Chúa, được thánh hóa bằng
các Bí tích, được cầu nguyện và chia sẻ cho anh em. Xin Chúa dùng sức mạnh của
Chúa mà thanh tẩy và gìn giữ Đền Thờ của con qua các Bí tích Hòa Giải và Thánh
Thể. Như thế, thân xác và tâm hồn con mới xứng đáng là nơi Chúa ngự luôn mãi.
