Đúng người Cha đã chạnh lòng thương, chạy ra ôm người con thứ rồi hôn
lấy người con. Các con thấy theo lẽ thường khi mình có lỗi với cha mẹ
thì mình phải bị phạt bị ăn đòn đúng không? nhưng ở đây người Cha luôn
yêu thương và sẵn sàng tha thứ khi người con dù có phạm tội nặng tới
đâu mà biết sám hối quay trở vềngười Cha luôn yêu thương và tha thứ.<i>

Có rất nhiều đệ tử đang tu luyện thiền học dưới sự hướng dẫn của thiền
sư Sengai. Trong số đó có một đệ tử thường hay thức dậy ban đêm, lẻn
trốn một mình trèo tường ra phố rong chơi dạo mát cho thỏa thích. Và một
đêm kia, thiền sư Sengai đi kiểm tra phòng ngủ các đệ tử, thấy vắng mặt
một người và cũng khám phá ra chiếc ghế đẩu mà anh ta thường dùng để leo
qua tường ra ngoài. Sau khi suy nghĩ, thiền sư Sengai liền dời chiếc ghế
đi chỗ khác và đứng thay vào chỗ đó. Một lát sau, anh chàng ham rong
chơi trở về không biết rằng thầy mình là chiếc ghế, cứ thản nhiên đặt
chân vào đầu thầy mình để nhảy xuống đất. Đúng lúc đó mới khám phá ra sự
thể động trời của mình, anh ta hoảng hốt sợ đến ngất xỉu. Nhưng thiền sư
Sengai nhỏ nhẹ bảo anh : “Sáng sớm trời lạnh lắm, con hãy cẩn thận kẻo
bị cảm đấy”. Và từ đó, người đệ tử hoang đàng ấy không bao giờ dám ra
ngoài chơi ban đêm nữa.</span></i></p>

của thiền sư Sengai mang dáng dấp bất thường khác lạ với quan niệm và
thái độ chung của mọi người, nhưng lại phản ảnh được một chút nho nhỏ
cách đối xử của Chúa với tội nhân mà bài Tin Mừng hôm nay trình bày.</span></i></p>

hữu thực sự của Chúa thì chúng ta hãy cố gắng thực hiện hai điểm này :</span></p>

Nghĩa là đừng quá quan trọng hóa nết xấu, lỗi lầm của anh em, đừng nuôi
lòng thích thú khi thấy anh em sa ngã, lầm lỡ, đừng giả đò thương hại
khi đưa lỗi lầm của anh em ra bàn tán và đừng bao giờ tỏ vẻ khinh khi,
ruồng bỏ anh em bằng lời ăn tiếng nói, bằng cử chỉ ánh mắt, nhưng hãy
bắt chước Chúa biết thông cảm với nỗi khổ tâm của anh em, biết thao thức
lo lắng giúp anh em sửa mình, biết tôn trọng, bênh vực anh em, biết cầu
nguyện cho em.</span></p>

Một trong muôn cái sai lầm của con người là chỉ nhìn người khác mà quên
nhìn mình, chỉ để ý đến tội người khác mà ít quan tâm đến tội mình. Điều
đó muốn nói rằng mỗi người chúng ta đều cần đến sự thương yêu tha thứ
của Chúa và sự rộng lượng bao dung của anh em để có cơ hội và điều kiện
mà ăn năn sửa sai. Nhất là khi lầm lỡ sa ngã trầm trọng thì cũng đừng
quá lo lắng, buồn sầu mà dễ sinh lòng thất vọng chán nản, buông xuôi,
nhưng hãy đặt niềm tin tưởng vững chắc nơi tình thương tha thứ của Chúa
và can đảm nhờ anh em giúp đỡ. Dĩ nhiên, khi tin tưởng Chúa thương ta và
sự thông cảm của anh em không có nghĩa là ta cứ lì lợm trong sự sa ngã,
nhưng nhờ Chúa và anh em thúc đẩy ta quyết chí, hăng hái trong việc sám
hối sửa mình.</span></p>

là chúng ta hãy luôn quảng đại tha thứ cho những anh em xúc phạm đến
