Sống trên đời, chúng ta giống như một người đeo hai cái giỏ. Cái giỏ
phía trước mặt thì đựng những sai lỗi của người khác, còn cái giỏ phía
sau lưng thì chất đầy những sai lỗi của bản thân.</span></p>

Vì thế, chúng ta thường nhìn thấy rất rõ những sau lỗi của người khác để
rồi lên tiếng phê bình một cách gay gắt và chỉ trích một cách thậm tệ.</span></p>

Trong khi đó, những sao lỗi của bản thân thì lại chẳng nhìn thấy. Và nếu
có nhìn thấy chăng nữa, thì cũng sẽ đưa ra một ngàn lẻ một lý do để bênh
vực và bào chữa:</span></p>

tận bùn đen, còn bản thân chúng ta thì lại muốn được ca tụng, được vượt
trổi lên đến tận mây xanh.</span></p>

mới thấy mà lấy cái rơm, cái rác ra khỏi mắt anh em mình, thì trái lại,
chúng ta chỉ thấy được cái rơm, cái rác trong mắt anh em, mà quên đi cái
xà còn đang nằm ở trong mắt mình.</span></p>

chúng ta có thể vấp ngã bất kỳ lúc nào và bất kỳ ở đâu. Sở dĩ chúng ta
còn đứng vững và trung thành cho tới ngày hôm nay, tất cả đều do sự trợ
giúp và nâng đỡ của tình thương và ơn sủng Chúa.</span></p>

điểm của mình, để rồi cố gắng uốn nắn, nỗ lực sửa đổi, nhờ đó thăng tiến
bản thân, đổi mới cuộc đời.</span></p>

được nghe biết sự thật, vì kính nể nên ai cũng khen ngợi và tâng bốc

trong gương, xem trên khuôn mặt chúng ta có nhọ nhem và mang vết bẩn hay
không, nếu có thì chúng ta phải vội vã cọ rửa và lau chùi ngay.</span></p>

– Domine, noverim te et noverim me. Lạy Chúa, xin cho con biết Chúa và
xin cho con biết con. Biết Chúa để nhờ đó con sẽ yêu mến Chúa nhiều hơn.
Biết con để nhờ đó sẽ uốn nắn sửa đổi nhưng sai lỗi khuyết điểm, hầu
luôn sống đẹp lòng Chúa.</span></p>

khuyết điểm của mình. Đứng trước những khuyết điểm của người khác, xin
Chúa cho chúng con biết cảm thông và tha thứ, như Chúa đã từng cảm thông
và tha thứ cho chúng con cũng như cho những kẻ tội lỗi trong Phúc âm.
Còn đứng trước những sai lỗi của bản thân, xin Chúa giúp chúng con biết
nhận lỗi, xin lỗi và nhất là sửa lỗi, để nhờ đó chúng con thăng tiến bản
