thuật sự tha thứ của Đa-vít. Đa-vít làm ơn mà mắc oán. Sau khi chiến
thắng Gô-li-át, giải phóng dân Do thái khỏi tay người Phi-li-stinh, ông
được dân chúng ca ngợi. Sự ngưỡng mộ của dân chúng đối với Đa-vít khiến
vua Sa-un ghen tỵ. Sa-un tìm bắt Đa-vít để giết đi. Hôm nay, sau một
cuộc săn lùng mệt mỏi, Sa-un ngủ thiếp đi trong hang đá. Đa-vít đến mà
không ai hay biết. Có thể giết Sa-un, nhưng Đa-vít đã không làm. Trong
Đa-vít có cái mà ta gọi là bao dung, độ lượng, cao thượng. Tuy nhiên sự
tha thứ của Đa-vít vẫn chưa hoàn toàn tự phát. Ông không dám giết Sa-un
một phần vì sợ xúc phạm đến “người được Thiên chúa xức dầu”.</span></p>

mừng, Đức Giêsu đòi hỏi người môn đệ phải vượt qua cái thường tình.
Người muốn môn đệ vươn đến sự tha thứ hoàn hảo. Sự tha thứ hoàn hảo của
Tin mừng phải biểu lộ bằng hành động cụ thể: “Ai vả anh em má bên này,
thì hãy giơ cả má bên kia nữa. Ai đoạt áo ngoài của anh em, thì cũng
đừng cản họ lấy áo trong. Ai xin thì hãy cho, ai lấy cái gì của anh em,
thì đừng đòi lại”.</span></p>

lại ở hành động bên ngoài, sự tha thứ hoàn hảo phải thấm sâu vào lý trí,
không lấy ác báo ác, nhưng cũng không nghĩ xấu về người khác: “Anh em
đừng xét đoán, thì sẽ khỏi bị Thiên chúa xét đoán. Anh em đừng lên án,
thì sẽ khỏi bị Thiên chúa lên án”.</span></p>

đã là một bước tiến dài nhưng vẫn chưa đủ, sự tha thứ còn phải lan đến
tận trái tim là trung tâm của tình yêu. Khi đã chiếm lĩnh được trái tim,
sự tha thứ trở nên một sức mạnh kỳ diệu dẫn đến những hành động tích
cực, lấy đức báo oán, đem yêu thương xoá bỏ hận thù. Khi ấy ta mới có
thể thực hành Lời Chúa dạy: “Anh em phải yêu thương kẻ thù và làm ơn cho
kẻ oán ghét mình, phải chúc lành cho kẻ nguyền rủa mình và cầu nguyện
cho kẻ nhục mạ mình”.</span></p>

dạy dỗ trên, Đức Giêsu muốn cho môn đệ của Người tha thứ và yêu thương
không phải như người thường nhưng như Thiên Chúa “Người nhân hậu cả với
những phường vô ân, với những quân độc ác”. Người muốn cho các môn đệ
của Người “từ bi như Cha trên trời là Đấng từ bi”.</span></p>

dạy dỗ trên, Đức Giêsu muốn thanh tẩy thế giới sạch mọi oán thù. Không
phải chỉ sạch oán thù ngoài mặt nhưng sạch từ trong thâm tâm mỗi người.
Không phải chỉ bằng mặt mà còn phải bằng lòng. Sào huyệt vững chắc nhất
của oán thù không phải ở nơi người khác nhưng ở trong lòng ta. Muốn thế
giới hết oán thù, chính bản thân ta phải từ bỏ oán thù trước. Muốn thế
giới sống trong yêu thương, chính ta phải yêu thương trước. Yêu thương
giống như ngọn lửa thắp lên rồi sẽ cháy lan mạnh mẽ. Yêu thương giống
như bầu khí toả ra sẽ lan tới từng buồng phổi, sẽ thấm vào từng mạch
máu. Yêu thương chính là sức mạnh biến đổi thế giới sâu xa nhất. Yêu
thương là cuộc cách mạng bền vững nhất.</span></p>

chỉ nói suông. Chính Người đã thực hành những điều Người nhắn nhủ các
môn đệ. Người để cho quân lính bắt đi như con chiên hiền lành đứng trước
người thợ xén lông. Người chữa lành tai cho kẻ đến bắt Người. Người
không nói một lời nào trách móc những kẻ làm điều ác cho Người. Sau
cùng, lúc bị treo trên thánh giá, Người còn cầu nguyện cho những kẻ giết
Người. Người đã minh chứng một tình yêu nguyên tuyền không bợn chút oán
thù. Người đã minh chứng một tình yêu mãnh liệt vượt qua mọi ghen ghét.</span></p>

mong ta hãy đem lửa ấy chiếu soi khắp thế giới.</span></p>
