<span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px">Với lý trí chúng ta rất khó hiểu về
các mối hạnh phúc này. Lý trí đành chịu thua. Chúng đả đảo lý luận con
người. Chúng làm ta phát điên. Nhưng chúng lại làm ta kinh ngạc và chúng ta
không dám từ bỏ chúng vì nghĩ đến những bao nhiêu quả phúc chúng đã sinh ra
qua những thế hệ. Những hạnh phúc theo Thánh Lu-ca và Thánh Mát-thêu đều gây
kinh ngạc, tuy hai Thánh có viết khác nhau, nhưng cùng một mục đích là hạnh
phúc nước trời. Thánh Mát-thêu nhấn mạnh đến tinh thần nghèo khó, đến thái
độ con tim. Thánh Lu-ca nhấn mạnh đến nghèo khó thật sự, nghèo khó của giai
cấp xã hội chẳng có gì hết trơn hết trọi, giai cấp xã hội nghèo khó này đang
qui tụ lại thành tín đồ của Tin Mừng Đức Giêsu. Thánh Mát-thêu kêu mời từ bỏ
bên trong. Thánh Lu-ca kêu gọi cải tạo cơ cấu xã hội để giảm bớt những khổ
đau trong xã hội.</span></p>

lịch sử mà Đức Kitô nói: “ Các bạn là những người nghèo khổ, đói khát, khóc
lóc, bị khinh bỉ, ghen ghét, bị bắt bớ, bị nhục nhã, phúc cho các bạn. Vì
nếu bây giờ các bạn chịu được như thế, ngày kia tất cả sẽ đổi lại, các bạn
sẽ giầu có, no nê, vui cười, được mến chuộng trong nước Thiên Chúa”.</span></p>

nói thế nào? có phải Ngài nói dỡn để cho những kẻ khốn khổ thể xác, tình
cảm, tinh thần được vui chút ư? có phải Ngài là chú hề đã nói đến sự đền bù
ở tương lai mơ hồ giả định ư? có phải chỉ là giấc mơ hạnh phúc có thể giúp
cho người ta chịu khổ bây giờ để đè nén cho nguôi đi những đau đớn và uất ức
chăng? hiểu sai lầm các mối phúc thật, như thế là độc ác và vô liêm sỉ. Đức
Kitô không bao giờ phong thần đau khổ và bất hạnh. Người không ngừng làm
giảm bớt nỗi đau khổ của con người suôt đời Ngài đã cứu chữa, an ủi những
bệnh nhân, tật nguyền, nghèo khổ và tha thứ cho những tội nhân, giải phóng
những kẻ bị ma quỷ xiềng xích. Ngài muốn chúng ta hiểu và chấp nhận thập giá
như Ngài. Vì mến Chúa và yêu người. Lúc đó thập giá trở nên lời hứa thực
