trong sa mạc suốt bốn mươi năm mới được đặt chân vào miền đất hứa, chúng ta
cũng là những người đang dấn bước. Cuộc đời là hành trình. Trần gian là sa
mạc. Đất hứa là Nước trời. Đúng thế, mỗi ngày sống phải là một bước tiến tới
niềm đất Chúa đã hứa ban là Nước trời, là niềm hạnh phúc vĩnh cửu.</span></p>

sống không phải là một sự phi lý đáng nôn mửa, hay buồn chán và tuyệt vọng,
nhưng là một giai đoạn quan trọng để thanh luyện, để chuẩn bị những hành
trang cần thiết cho niềm hạnh phúc vĩnh hằng mai sau. Vì thế, chết không
phải là hết, nhưng là thời điểm chúng ta được sinh cho cuộc sống đời đời, là
khung cửa hẹp qua đó chúng ta được tiến vào nhà Cha.</span></p>

chúng ta. Người Kitô hữu không bi quan yếm thế, nhưng nhìn rõ và đánh giá
đúng mức những thực tại trần gian. Chính niềm tin tưởng và hy vọng vào cuộc
sống mai sau đã thắp sáng những năm tháng hiện tại của chúng ta.</span></p>

nhiều lúc chúng ta cũng chẳng hiểu nổi. Vui đấy rồi lại buồn đấy. Chúng ta
cũng chẳng biết mình muốn gì và mình là người như thế nào? Hơn nữa, bản thân
chúng ta giống như con ngựa chứng bất kham,chúng ta không thể điều khiển nổi
mình nữa và nhiều lúc đã phải đầu hàng trước những cám dỗ, những thôi thúc
của tội lỗi, như lời thánh Phaolô đã diễn tả:</span></p>

thuận, nắng không hòa, thành thử mùa màng vẫn thất thu như thường.</span></p>

thấy bất lực trong việc tạo dưng hạnh phúc. Thực vậy, dù chúng ta đã cố gắng
rất nhiều, thế mà cuộc đời vẫn chìm ngập trong khổ đau vì khổ đau vốn dĩ là
một cái gì gắn liền với thân phận con người và trái chín hạnh phúc vẫn ở
ngoài tầm với của chúng ta như người xưa đã bảo:</span></p>

hệ, chúng ta thấy người khác thường hay đóng kịch và giả dối đối với chúng

mặt họ ca tụng chúng ta, nhưng sau lưng họ lại chửi bới chúng ta hay toan
tính những ý đồ mờ ám và thâm độc theo kiểu:</span></p>
